Remarks :

I had talked to university authority on call before taking admission regarding admission in this course they told me that you should have minimum 60% in 12th with PCM stream. You can find the application form and application fees and application dates on universitie's official website. You can also give CUET exam if you wanted to avail scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in Computer Science engineering to get placed in big MNCs,that's why I chose this course.Honestly curriculum is not upto the mark , they teach those topics which are not applicable in real world industry level projects. They should teach more topics like OOPs, DBMS,Operating System, Networking which surely used industry level projects. Per semester , 2 Tests(MSTs) and One final exam is conducted in BE in chandigarh University.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 164000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have done internship in Highradius as IT trainee and done project on AI enabled fintech B2B cloud application using python during 28 january 2022 to 13 april 2022 and deployed that project. During this project I got no stipend.

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester , students become eligible for campus placements. Approx 500 companies visited during placement season and I got 2 offers. Highest package was 35LPA and average would be approx 6LPA. 80% students got placed. I joined one of the company from which I got the offer , after getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee during 2019-2023 batch was 82k including 2000 examinatiopn fee ,per semester without scholarship. Hostel fees for 5 seater room in Zakir B was 77k. If you score well in JEE mains and have 90+ in 12th then you will be eligible for scholarship. I got placed in good decent company with 5 LPA package.

Campus Life :

There are about 8-9 libararies in whole campus containing plenty of books. I was there in presenter 's club and in WebSpark where I overcome my stage fear and also learnt development in the college itself.

Hostel Facilities :

I was there in hostel from first year. My room was 5 seater in which 3 roomates were my classmates and 2 were of other section. Room had 5 bed , 5 almirah, 5 pairs of table and chair. Mess was on ground floor. Mess food was good , high in protein contains dahi , eggs , chicken etc. Hostel fees was 77k per year for 5 seater room.

Hostel Fee : INR 77000 per year

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is1:60 in classroom and in labs itis 1:30, and it is good ratio for better learning. Talking about faculty's credentials , they are well qualified for eg C++ teacher in second semester, she has 8 years of teaching expierence and did job in infosys. You can ask questions during class or after the class. You can also approch the faculty in faculty room and ask any questions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ciriculam is revised every year as per the new concepts and development progress. I've chosen Computer science engineering as my intrest is in coding and this course mainly focus on it . The first year is not focused on computer science but totally engeneering so we can get grasp of every engeneering

From classroom to cockpit: An comprehensive review of Aerospace Engineering degree at Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. Internships can be done from the 2nd semester itself in the summer and winter breaks but you have to look for them yourself. Companies who have visited for placement are Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Indigo, TCS, Tata Motors, that's all I remember. The only core aerospace industry in all of them is TASL and in aviation is Indigo. The highest package offered was by Indigo in 2019 that was 8 lpa. Average packages are by TCS and TASL that range from 3.5 lacs to 5.5 lacs. Out of 200 students 5 students got offered at TASL for a 5.5 lpa as a GET (General Engineer Trainee) and others as Junior Trainee, etc. Apart from these companies more managerial positions are offered but the job profile of such companies are sales executive, customer care, etc. with very average salaries. My plan is to get a Commercial Pilot Licence after my degree and fly for a regional airliner. The only added advantage is I have a degree.
