College is very far from main solan. To reach there we have to go in buses which is overcrowded and becomes very difficult to travel

Course Curriculum Overview :

The university is well known for cse courses and it was only university in himachal that was meeting all criteria in terms of learning and environment. The timing of exams is two hours and its in online mode. Talking about difficult it is very easy.

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 69000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like hughes, FPL,eazydiner , aditya birla, tcs ,loreal, physics wallah and more some of them are tech companies and some are for sales and management. There are also orher companies that came to campus for tech consultants

Placement Experience :

From last semester we become eligible and companies start coming. For mba batch placements are good and for cse students only few companies come with high package like 10-15 lakh rest companies have very minimal packages

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When I joined the fee was 69000 and bow its above 1 lakh for one semester which I think is very high according to the education provided. In the first semester we are able to apply for scholarships rest there are employment opportunities in campus also

Campus Life :

There are many fests like moksh, manchtantra and other which is held as activities. One of the best part is library where one can sit for the whole day and spend it with the books, journals and magazines. Sports and extracurricular activities have a very good scope in shoolini as they promote it more

Admission :

Admission process is very simple. They will give online test to clear which is of course easy and you will be admitted in course. Application forma are available in their sites and also you will be assigned a counsellor who will help you throughput the process

Faculty :

The faculty is gery nice and very supportive too. As they will guide you for the right path. The approach of teaching and mentoring is normal as the required syllabus is completed and rest a student have to study himself

NIT Hamirpur Review

Placement Experience:

The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc. More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .

Placement Experience:

Like from the the 7th semester we are eligible to sit in placement process. Companies like vegazva, khanna paper mill, shree cement etc. companies visited in campus. And the highest package as like i mentioned the company visited in campus giving us 4lpa for 2-3 years then it is increased as per the candidate performance.

A realistic experience at NIT Hamirpur

A clear picture is not shown to the website of my college as well as student studying at it. However after consulting through our seniors, we get to know that various big companies visits our college. The highest package is about 60 lakhs but average is around 10 lakhs

Campus placement is now going to boost In JNGEC from the last 4 years. Students are eligible from the last year of their graduation for the placement. Some of the students were already placed during their Vocational training time. Tech, textile, mechanical, civil constructions Ltd, and electronics company visit make students secure about their future with respect to placements. 6LPA is the average package offered by a company here.
