Good sports background and training, You will love the college if you are into sports.
Good campus, neat and clean campus. Not too big nor a small campus.

Dislikes

75% attendance is compulsory to write university exam.
Hostel food sucks. Most tkmians face hostel food as their major disadvantage.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is also a major prons of the college. Every department has their own specific quality that will be maintained . So that performance in academics will not be so bad which affect college dignity

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience :

College provide good number of placements. Higher packages of placements are low in number but the number of offers college receives are higher. Average LPA this year is about 4.5 L And the highest is 32L

Fees and Financial Aid :

At the admission time I paid about 16000 And then I am only paying the semester registration fee and exam registration fee. Fee structure is very low and affordable comparing to other colleges. Availability of scholarship is very much in our college for specific categories.

Campus Life :

College has many clubs. Technical as well non Technical. Students can choose their field of interest and move to specific clubs. And the programs and fest of the college are coordinated by the students itself by forming various committees.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel accommodation is of two types: International with higher fees, clean rooms, better food, etc and normal with moderate fees, moderate rooms etc. But the food is very bad in both cases. For normal room it may cost around 5k - 6k monthly.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Admission :

Keam is the entrance exam for the criteria of getting admission in TKM. For general category electrical and electronics engineering may get the cutoff of about 10000. Admission process are allotted by CEE by different allotment phases

Faculty :

Academics is doing in very good manner in Tkmce. Faculties put very much effort(most of them). But there are others who are not upto the mark. Bad way of teaching and treating different students differently

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
