Remarks :

There is an entrance exam called PPT(pre polytechnic test) and PET(pre engineering test), based on performance in this test you get your rank after then you have to choose your priority for college and stream. If the college has enough seats for your rank then you get selected, after selection, you have to submit your all documents, and mark sheet to the college and have to pay 5000 INR. But if you are a girl or a reserved category person then you will get an exemption from fees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of my interest, and faculties are also well supported. On average, there is 1 faculty to 100-150 students. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders or at least they have a master's degree. They teach in a very simplistic method so one can understand concepts very easily and solve problems. But some of them are just rude and if you complain about that teacher, teachers can be changed. There are many tests during the session. Sometimes questions are hard to write the answers and some are conceptual if you study regularly then you don't need to worry. Test held quarterly

Placement Experience :

Students who passed the 4th semester can be eligible for the campus placement exams. There are lots of companies visits. Names are TATA group, TCS, JSW, Birla Cement, Ambuja Cement, and many more. The highest annual package was around 5.2 lacs p.a. and the average package was 3 lacs p.a. . Around 40-60% of students got selected in campus recruitment. Some companies come for the profile of executive engineer and some companies come for the Assistant Manager post. After graduation, I'm preparing for GATE

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees hike policy depends on the state govt. Basic fees for OBC and UR are 5000 and reserved categories and girls are exempted from fees. Each student has to pay the semester exam fees of around 700 INR semester-wise. There are many types of scholarships. Like OBC, ST, SC scholarships, minority category scholarships, research and development scholarships, etc.

Campus Life :

They conduct an annual function in college every year in January. And when new students arrive in college they get their welcome party and seniors get farewell party 2 months before their final examination. You will find every book in the library related to your study, where you can read in the Library or you can take it with you for some time. In the classroom, there are around 20-25 wooden chairs and tables for 60 students and one special for the teachers. They teach on green board with chalk and duster. From September to November every year, they conduct sports activities, in this, they include indoor games like volleyball, chess, carrom, etc, and outdoor game like cricket, football, etc, you will get a class bunk for your sprots training and get bonus marks in the exam. Placement Experience:

• Students get eligible placements from their fifth semester i.e their 3rd-year middle. • Many famous companies like Wipro Amazon Google cloud etc come to offer placements. • Over 80 companies come to offer employment for nearly 800 students in a year. The same situation can be seen electrical department. • The highest average package announced as per the company is above 10 lacs per annum and the profiles offered are to the talented bright students. • Nearly 65 % of the students are placed every year. • I would like to appear for Gate and go for a public sector job in my core subject i.e the Electricity department.

You will never get the full details and correct stats from any college about their campus placement. All you will know is from your seniors. And what I heard is that from now on good campus placement have started. Still, not more than 10% can get satisfied campus placements. But not to worry because nowadays we have opportunities to get placements.
