Course Curriculum Overview :

I enrolled into the civil engineering course and the curriculum was a bit outdated but the faculty tried their best to impart us with real world knowledge and software applications. 2 internals and 2 major exams were conducted in a span of 6 months leading to a continous evaluation.

Internships Opportunities :

I interned with CIDC and was provided by the placement cell itself. I was offered the position of trainee in thier pre stressed concrete team and was provided with the knowledge of the domain. I did not do any projects under them rather I was undergoing only training sessions.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements were adequate and for my branch quite less, 50% of the batch remained unplaced. From 7th semester, we were allowed to sit for placements. Highest package was 5.5LPA and lowest was 2.8 LPA. I was fortunate to be placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure was quite economical. It was around 25,000 per semester and the mess was about 2,500 per month. Scholarships were available on a need basis. No campus employment was provided. No other charges were other apart from tuition fee and hostel mess fee

Campus Life :

The campus life was very vibrant. At any given time, something would be happening. Annual fest was organised in the month of March, in which all hostel would compete for the best hostel title in various competition.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel were very good. Rooms were of double sharing in my hostel. One hostel offers only triple sharing and one hostel was for PHD scholars and was of single sharing. The mess food was subpar and menu quite limited. Registration was conducted on the day of entering the hostel itself and hostel in alloted on the day of fee payment.

Admission :

Eligibility was JEE qualified and the application can be found in the college website in the month of April. Reservation was as per government guidelines. 4 exams total in a span of 6 months. No GD/PI and interview for bachelors.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio was about 1:6. So the learning experience was good. The faculty interactions was quite often and we can often visit the faculty in their chambers. In the final year the students were equally divided among the faculty, 6 each and projects were done smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've been enthusiastic about exploring more about software and programming which influenced me to choose the course of Computer Science Engineering. With further development of artificial intelligence, it opens up better learning and job opportunities for students. In my university, computer science is taught by experienced teachers and faculty but it would be better if they were more inclusive of certain topics which are extremely important for the students and raising the level of teaching including practical learning and understanding and also examining the student's capability is one of the aspects to be included.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, placements were dissapointing however it is getting better day by day. The major hindrance is the location factor but TnP cell works very hard to bring companies and to provide students with equal opportunities.
