Magical Unity (CONJURA)

Remarks :

There is nothing to say negative about our college. We have a students union and everything is according to students wish management won't interfere in a bad way.

Entrance Preview :

Best aided college in Kerala. I opt Mechanical engineering because TKM has the best faculties in the department of Mechanical engineering when compared to other colleges. Our college is NAAC accredited and NBA for 6 years. Our college gives importance to both studies and extracurricular activities equally. We have the best placements from companies like TCS, MRF, IQVIA, BYJUS APP,etc.. Teachers are very friendly and helpful, they know the pulse of TKM students as our teachers are once a student in the same college. So in overall TKM is a good college in Kerala without any negative marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is not preferred by our college. There is a defined structure of curriculum for all the colleges in Kerala belonging to Kerala Technological University (KTU) We are following the steps adviced by the University as of my opinion its the worst structure and a lot to improve.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. College stresses their students to go for workshops as well as an internship as these are very much important for placements. For that, we have the Society of Engineering (SAE) IEEE IEDC etc..

Placement Experience :

We have best placements from companies like TCS, MRF, IQVIA, BYJUS APP,etc.. college also provides proper training and guidance for the students on how to attend every interview in a better way. Group discussions language skill development is conducted by the starting of the third year itself.

College Events :

CONJURA it is the most important and the beat event in our college.. it includes arts as well as technical events WHEELS cars and bike show AARDHRA program with handicap children TREBLES music and dance VARAVELPU freshers day AARAVAM union Inauguration

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible.. we are paying ten thousand per year as government fees. 500 as union fee per year to conduct programs in college. Exam fees prescribed by the university. Hostel fees are very less when compared to other colleagues in a range of 3500-4500.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Yes, there is a scholarship for people who came with good ranks. There are scholarships for the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students

Campus Life :

Campus life in TKM is awesome. The only negative point is the TKM campus is small when compared to other colleges. There are no gender partitions. Equality for everyone on the campus. Lots of extracurricular activities are there all types of sports are trained in our campus. Lab facilities are best. old is gold can be seen in our labs.. best equipment.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are too good. Better and bigger rooms good atmosphere to study. Proper cleaning is there every day for that a special group of workers is there. Food is too good and healthy. Hostel fees are very less when compared to another college in a range of 3500-4500. The rate includes mess as well as rent which is feasible.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni from TKM are all over the world they conduct meetings.. they provide a lot of support in the case of placements, as well as they, provide financial support to students activities

Exam Structure :

As mentioned above exam structure is followed as per University prescribed. KERALA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (KTU) We are following the steps adviced by the University as of my opinion it's the worst structure and a lot to improve. The correction process in our university is not fair a lot to improve.

Admission :

I got admission in this college by attending KEAM exam. We have to get qualified for KEAM by scoring 10 marks to study engineering in any colleges in Kerala. I got 72 marks in KEAM that wasn't enough to get admission in TKM. So I preferred to take a management seat.

Faculty :

Teachers are very friendly and helpful, they know the pulse of TKM students as our teachers are once a student in the same college. They are very helpful in teaching and always try the best to make their students best. They are very helpful during project and seminar works by giving professional advice for the betterment of the mentioned.

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

Placement Experience:

There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
