Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose biomedical engineering as it is a rare course. The job opportunities are very high both in India and abroad as well. It is a unique course and thus sparked my interest. Teaching methods can include more conversations between the student and teacher. Exams are held frequently and are very competitive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
From this year onwards the college has become autonomous. So, there is a chance for fees to increase for newly arriving students. The complete cost for all 4 years including the hostel fees would be around 7.5 lacs. There are government scholarships.
Campus Life :
Every year the college conducts the arts day. Apart from that there are various workshops and hackathons. The college IEEE organizes the Altair event for students from all over. Sports and extracurricular activities are happening.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is inside the campus. Just walking distance. Each room will have 3 members. Separate beds are provided. Food is average. Registration is done with the warden. Pg is available nearby. I am also planning to move out.
Admission :
We have to first take the keam or jee exam and pass in it. When we arrive in college for admission they will provide all the forms. Reservations are available for lower caste and minorities. The exams are held frequently
Faculty :
The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good. They are well-mannered and well-educated. They have really good educational qualifications. They are approachable as well. Most of them know how to teach well
