Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is well upgraded as per needs of the legal industry. We have 3 BA/BBA subjects and 3 law subjects every semester, so there are 6 subjects per semester. We have only one 70-mark exam and 30 marks for Project Viva at the end of the sem, making it difficult to manage. The passing marks for each subject is 49.5 marks.

Internships Opportunities :

After every semester you get a 2 months off for an internship. The college also has a very active internship cell that provides internship opportunities. The internships are generally without stipend and with 10k at max. The internship role is legal research or drafting along with court visits.

Placement Experience :

The Campus Placement is 2023 was quite impressive. Out of 80 students who participated in the Recruitment process 71 were placed. The highest package was 18 lakhs and the average package was 11.7 lakhs. Top-tier law firms like SAM, Luthra & Luthra, Trilegal recruits students from NLUO.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college fees till 2022 was 201000 excluding the mess fees but from the year 2023, it has become 242000. The college increases it fee after every 5 years. The total cost for my course is approximately 15 years. Scholarships or financial aid are given to economically backward students.

Campus Life :

The campus life is very lively here. The College has 2 mega fests which is Kairaan, the cultural fest, and Viraj, the sports fest. The college has various committees and centers which the students can be part of. The college has a gym, a football, a cricket ground, a sports complex, and an indoor sports room.

Hostel Facilities :

The college has in campus hostel facilities. There are 2 hostels for boys and 2 for girls with one under construction hostel for girls. The hostel rooms provided with one bed one study table and chair along with one almirah and one book shelf. The Hostels are in enough quantity to be provided to everyone who avails it. In the first year there is double occupancy rooms and from the second year one get single rooms. The mess food is quite decent (it's edible).

Admission :

To get into NLUO, one has to clear CLAT. CLAT is conducted by consortium of nlus which is conducted every year in the month of December. A minimum 1200 rank is required to get into NLUO. The admission process is quite smooth.

Faculty :

The faculty is quite experienced and well-qualified. The classroom size is 60 students so every professor teaches 60 students at a time in class. The teaching is not so bookish but also by practical discussion and engaging ppts and quizzes. The faculty is also available for consultation after college hours.

Placement Experience:

College provides with various placement and even internship opportunities. It gives maximum placement in legal firms, banks, corporate and Ip sector. If there is no placement opportuntity people pursuing law can always opt for litigation, judiciary or upsc or even Sebi legal officer exam. Last year 60% people got placement. My plans after getting degree is to join a legal firm for pursuing my litigation career

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are provided in the ninth semester. The average package was around 20000 monthly. There were not too many placements. There were around 5-6 companies for placement. I personally haven't decided yet whether I would go for litigation or corporate sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for BALLB because my elder sister have already completed her 5 year course , and I was inspired from her . She helps me a lot in my studies . The faculty student ratio is not very good. For 60 students there is only one teacher . The current faculty is very learned , but most of them are students from NLU , I , don't understand why our college gives priority to candidates who are pass outs of other colleges rather than employing there own candidates . Our 1st semester which should be for 6 months was literally completed within 3 months . The pace was good during the start but when the exams were nearby the teachers just read out the chapters and we didn't understand a thing . And in English we came to know about the type of question on the day of exam . So I'd like to change that .

Our college holds 2 semester in a year. Each semester requires a gap of 6 months. That's valid till we have completed our full course. The medium of paper is average and all can pass by studying and hardwork.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the college because it is nearer to my town. There are less regular faculty and more guest faculty. Some faculty teaches better. Semester Exams held at a interval of 4-5 months. It depends on one's study pattern whether it's difficult or easy to pass the semester exams.
