- The college is very beautiful. It has very green campus all around. You will definately fall in love once you visit here.
- The discipline is very good. There are n number of guards all around the campus roaming here and there, Full Anti ragging system.
Dislikes
- The attendance policy which is 90% and after this you will be fined rs 400 for 1% below 90%. But due to this, students visit college and build network.
- The college timing is 9 to 5 daily which literally sucks. But this helps you in long run when you will go in corporates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is affiliated to AKTU and out college follows it strictly. They explain our syllabus and update us as per the AKTU guidelines. I am happy with the course curriculum. The teachers help you to understand the real world.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship in College is very good. From 6th sem you get the opportunity to collect your NOC and go to internship outside. College also helps you to get interships. There are several 3rd year students who got good interships like Atlassian, Amazon and microsoft.
Placement Experience :
PSIT is know for its placement. It is the leading college in NORTH which is in leading the placemnets. All the students of PSIT Almost gets placed in renowned companies like Google, Microsoft, amazon etc.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The Course Fees of B.Tech is 180300 rs. If you are going to take hostel, there are AC and NON AC both available. AC fees is 100000 and Non AC is 84000. Kanpur is very hot so prefer taking AC rooms. And hostel mess food is all included. You also get laundry facility without extra cost.
Campus Life :
There are 30+ clubs in the college campus and one can get into it by 1st year only. So you get to build network and make friends in the college campuss. One also gets exposure. Infrastructure is very beautiful of PSIT.
Hostel Facilities :
Being a hosteler i know about the hostel very well. I'm in AC room by paying 100000 rs. I get facility of laundry and meals also my room gets cleaned everyday. No extra charges are taken. Food quality is very good. It is totally affordable.
Admission :
The admission in PSIT is done via JEE rank through UPTAC councelling or Direct Admission. I came here via UPTAC councelling as i got good rank in JEE. For direct admission, they ask for 12th marksheet and there is a test conducted in the college and then interview process goes.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is 60:1. It is very good as teacher get to know about each and every child in the class and then help them to study good. The faculty here in PSIT is highly educated as there are some teachers who are form IITS and NITS. The trainer of english are from South India and they help us to make understand english very easily.
