Likes
- Campus is large enough.Library ,Lab and Canteen facilities are awesome.
- Playground is big enough that we can play 3 to 4 matches at a time.
Dislikes
- To play we have to bring our own equipments.
- They conduct lots of exams like 1 exam per month.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum I found outdated as of today's era. Like they are still teaching C Language rather than C++,Java and python. Also there are lot of subjects which are not even related to our field and are not important for our future but still we have to study.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies visit time to time and do marketing strategies and also provide internship to many students. Also when students go for hackathon then whether they won or not but if they performed well then companies provide internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
Placements are average just like other AKTU colleges. Average package is between 4.75 LPA to 5LPA. Highest may go upto 44 LPA off campus. Median Package is around 4.25 LPA. That's not good but also not bad according to it's fees.
Fees and Financial Aid :
So Fee is around 115000 per year including everything for B Tech and it may vary vary program to pragram. Also Scholarship are available for students who come under fee waivier category. They have to pay less than normal students.
Campus Life :
Campus Life in GCET is far better than any other college. Here you get everything you want. Technical, PR Marketing, Social Media, Gaming, Sports and Event Management Clubs. Also many celebrities visit college.And may events and auditions takes place time to time.
Hostel Facilities :
As my friends told hostel facility is good. But getting hostel in GCET via JEE admission is not easy as most of the seats are already booked or sold to direct admission students. So many of them have to take outside hostels which are not cheaper.
Admission :
To be honest this was the one of the best choice as any other college of AKTU are very strict they have uniforms and strict rules But in GCET they provide enough freedom to explore yourself and your interests.
Faculty :
Faculty here are too supportive experienced and educated in their fields. Most of them have done masters and PhD from IIT's. Also they help in other personal matters including academics.They are more of a mentor than a teacher.
Night Life :
Nightlife is good . You got proper lightning in multicolour over the whole campus and street lights on the inner roads near hostel and canteen. which makes it safer for everyone to walk in their free time.
