Course Curriculum Overview

The course is mostly theortical it does cover allmost every aspect of cybersecurity but it lacks the basic practicality required for cyber being a last year student of these course we did not get proper knowledge real world cybersecurity

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 141000 per year

Placement Experience

After 6th semester you are eligible for campus placement if you have no backlogs , around 120 companies visits this college in year for placements , the highest package offered by company was around 12 lakhs , for cybersecurity around 8 students got placed with average package of 4.5 lpa , the percentage of students are around 9 CGPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees for regular Studens are around 1.5 lakhs per year , If you are jain aur kutchi you can get reservation and discounts in fees , you can avail mahadbt scholarship for other caste reservation each year , I got tution fees for OBC students scholarship

Campus Life

If you are looking for a great social life this college is ain't for you , it only helds a single social event named pratishtha which is around March and last upto 10-15 days , all the sports cultural and social activities are help around these time only rest of the year there is no such event

Admission

You can get admission to first year based on your CET score which would require around 80-85 percentile to get admission in cybersecurity course, while for diploma students you can directly get admission into second year which would require around 85 percentage in your last year , admission forms are available on sakec website

Faculty

In cybersecurity faculty members are new thy keep getting changed every semester but the ones that are around for 2 years are great they have alot of real life experience and provide guidance to students

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

College Life at SAKEC

I applied to Vidyalankar Institute of Technology,Mumbai , VESIT, DJ Sanghvi, in computer engineering, IT, AIDS etc. I couldnt get through in VESIT or DJ Sanghvi, since I had only 96 percentile in cet. However I was admitted to VIT, still i chose SAKEC because it is near to my home and it has comparitively safer locality. Addmission process is same what you follow in any other college in cet. You need to score atleast 94 in mht cet to get into computer engineering in SAKEC. you can even get through jee mains. Tho cet is most preferred by studdents.
