Remarks :

All over the college is very nice. I love to be a part of it. I have learned many new things here and adopted many new habbits too. I believe IIITKOTA will be in more demand in future. The college is still developing but at a much higher rate than you would expect.

Entrance Preview :

This college was running in MNIT Jaipur. This was the best college I could get under my rank. I wanted to go to an NIT and this was the closest thing to an NIT. I also wanted the CS branch and I was getting one here. Moreover MNIT is among top 10 colleges in Country

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is much better and revised then other colleges. I am very satisfied with the way things are working here. There are many languages taught which are less likely in other colleges. For example I got to learn PYTHON, JAVA, C++, c and many other useful languages

Internships Opportunities :

Yes the college provides interns. General stipend lies around 30k. Max 1 lakh and min 7k. The overall process explains how we get our placements. It is a similar process so helps to understand the scenario.

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty good. We have average of 10lpa. Companies like Amazon Adobe Oracle etc came this year.Max placement offer was 30lpa. So you get job if you have knowledge. Many students go for government exams also. The placements are healthy here.

College Events :

We started new so we have 3-4 events like sports, cultural, foundation day and technical fest. But due to mnit we have double the events. Also we are free to participate as an MNIT student. So we are doubly lucky. Also MNIT has really great fests too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is as follows: Institute fees is 78000 for people with salary above 5lpa. 35000 for above 1lpa. And 16000 for below 1lpa. Hostel fees is 26000 for all. I know the fees is quite high for some. But it is according to the rule of Central government.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yeah all State and Central scholorships are entertained. Other than that college provides scholorships to the needy and toppers.

Campus Life :

Campus is quite good. We have greenry despite being in Rajasthan. Gender ratio is 10:1 approx. This is my guess though. There are many clubs for robotics dance, sports, acting, enterpreneurship and many more. They all are pretty exciting. You will love to be a part of them

Hostel Facilities :

Mess food is as bad as you can get. Only Aurobindo hostel has a better taste. Others are same. You can't expect much although we have a variety in food. Other hostel facilities are quite good. We enjoy a very nice hostel with separate 1 man room. I rate it 9 stars.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We have a well formed alumni network. They are in touch and have meetings too. Seniors are still in contact on WhatsApp or Facebook. They are helpful in many areas.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is similar to any other college. We have 8 semesters. Each semester has 1 midsem and 1 endsem with lots of projects and assingments. Midsems are of 30 marks and endsems of 40. Rest is assingments of 10 marks..projects of 10.. and remaining is in attendance.

Admission :

I have to give the jee mains exam like everyone else. This is a Central Government College hence I have to get proper rank in exam to reach this college. After giving the jee exam I got 140 marks and then I went through the counselling process and took the admission in IIITKOTA.

Faculty :

Faculty comprises of mostly guest faculty. We do not enjoy the best faculty because of a new college. But we are growing slowly. There are guest lecturers from MNIT and other colleges too. Several times there are teachers form IIT too. So Faculty is really OK.

My view for college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be eligible for placement. TCS ,META etc. Companies visited every year. The highest package of my college is 10 LPA. And also average package is 2.50-3 LPA. Only 20-30% student s get placement from college but in textile branch placement ratio is 90-95%

Student Councelling is best.

Placement Experience:

In the beginning, I was preparing for the Govt. job but At the time of placements I had done my CRT training properly so due to that I got placed in Pinnacle for my Autocadds performance and I was very good at AutoCAD at the time of placements this was all possible by my respected teachers and I don't Forgoted their efforts on us.
