Remarks :

In short, the college is good for studying and placement but yes few south Indian teachers prefer south Indian students over north Indian even if north Indians are better than them.

Entrance Preview :

My cousins have already studied from this college and they have reviewed it's good in terms of study and placements. Also when I searched for the college on the internet and google youtube etc I find it to be nice to study four years here and I am thereby satisfied by the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course for computer science is easy and scoring of you listen to teachers in class and study a week before exams. The teachers provide you with notes and important questions before exams and if you follow what they say then you can rock in your exams.

Internships Opportunities :

No, I don't think the college provide internships since I am in my third year..you have to search for internships yourself but yes it provides placement and they are very good

Placement Experience :

this year 2018 the placements of Srm has been very good..almost all students of computer science have been placed in their 7th semester only and also the highest package bagged this year by a cse student is 39lakhs. And not just computer science, ECE, EEE, Civil etc has also good placements.

College Events :

MILAN and AARUSH are the two main fests celebrated in Srm along with various different events going on time to time. Milan is a cultural level fest of Srm college whereas Aarush is a technical level fest consisting of various workshops. Also, various celebrities come every year to attend Milan.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If you are a good scorer student in Srmjee then your fee structure would vary depending on your score compared to a student who comes through management quota..my tuition fees currently is 1,95,000 along with 15000 book fees and 15000 as a career development fees. So in total, my tuition fees are 2,25,000

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

yes, if you are a top scorer in srmjee or if have scored above 95% in 12th board exams then you can get a scholarship by college and also while the time of admissions in college campus only you can apply for a study loan

Campus Life :

Campus life is good but yes girls hostel have a few restrictions like you have to be inside the hostel by 6.30pm otherwise you have to go meet hod next day..and yes the college consists of students from various parts of India from north to south and from east to west.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel consists of Ac and non-ac rooms as well as hostels with attached bathroom and without attached bathrooms..depending upon these criteria the hostel prices vary..the mess food is as usual like any other college mess food but one thing is surely good being in south India the mess serves both north Indian as well as south Indian food.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college calls the alumni on some special events organized by college and yes seniors are good as you don't need to worry about any raging issue in college.

Exam Structure :

The exam consists of internal as well as external assessment. Both of equal weightage for good scoring. Also, there are two cycle test and one model exam before the final university exam which all contributes to the final cgpa scored by a student in the exam

Admission :

Firstly I applied for the entrance exam called SRMJEE. After participating in the exam I waited for my results to be out and I scored kinda good marks in it and scored 28000 ranks out of lakhs. Then, I went for counseling in Srm kattankulathur campus and I got what I wanted i.e. Computer Science

Faculty :

I would say some of the faculties are really nice and friendly..they help you from all internal to external problems..while some south Indian faculties will just suck your mind..torture you like anything. They always prefer a south Indian student over a north Indian student

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good but the college will not give guarantee that there is 100% placements if there is 100 % placements it might be good because getting good placements in lot of people is hard in other colleges the strength is less and getting chance is more

Placement Experience:

There are so many core companies coming to the college. The students who have that eligibility can surely enter into a good company. If you haven't placed anywhere you can also join very good companies with high packages.

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
