the campus is really great , its quite big which is rare for the good colleges in bengaluru
there are multiple competitions or hackathons conducted by the different branches regularly

Dislikes

there is a bit of lack of fun events going around

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is similar to that of vtu. I would sit parts of the curriculum are outdated and boring which may not be required by the industry but it's true for all the colleges. The teaching methods are fine. The exams come every month but they are not that hard.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are provided. The paid internships are given to a few people from companies like Amazon but not to everyone only very few. There are decent internships and skills development programs at the college.

Placement Experience :

campus placement opportunities are ample but only for the good courses like CS and CS-related and circuital branches. In CSE, 90%+ gets placed and the average package is about 6.5 lpa. The top placements are around 20lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees depend on the mode of admission. For kcet, it is Rs 125000 per year. For comedk, it is about Rs 300000 per year. There is no scholarship provided by the college. Only the scholarship provided by the government can be availed only by eligible students.

Campus Life :

I feel the social aspects of this college are underwhelming. There is a decent library available with lots of books and journals. Only the football ground is decent. The library is good, all books are there in the college library.

Admission :

I took admission through KCET. You just need to get a good enough rank to clear the rank and then you can get admission to this college. The reservation policy is applied to KCET. On the day of admission, there was a huge crowd and it was miserably mismanaged.

Faculty :

I feel that there are a decent no. of teachers. The faculties are well qualified. The faculties are easily approachable. Generally, the faculties are decent, and its manageable. They provide study materials that are sufficient to score well in the exams.

A good college for only study

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough for IT fields and you will get a decent amount of package. But if you want core placements we may get a few companies with few jobs so you should be competitive enough to crack these. Last year our college got the highest package of 52LPA. An average package is around 7.5 LPA.

Life at NMIT

Remarks:

there are no raging so you fill free and no one distribute you while you are studying. normally in our hostel 6-8 pm is a study time then 8'o clock dinner is started after you finish your dinner you can go for roaming in our college campus. after 9'o clock hostel get will be close so all student have to come to hostel on time and again 10'o clock study time start.
