I loved everything in my college except the timing.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for computer science and engineering. But I was a person who did not like to do coding. The course have its own pros and cons. But I am a person who doesn't like coding and took this course due to parents concern

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I got admission for management seat in computer science and engineering in lbs institute of technology for women under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. When I joined the fee rate was 60000 but during my last yr it became 70000

Campus Life :

The college had a fabulous environment. Apart from studying, I really had a very vibrant experience. There are lots of fest named Yavanika, yagnadruva etc. beyond that there were also sports day, election etc

Admission :

The admission process was so easy. I got admission through third allotment. I wrote KEAM, Kerala engineering entrance exam and on my third allotment I got admission in LBS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR WOMEN for management seat.

Faculty :

The faculty members are like a family to me. All the teachers were my second mother. They treated us like their own children and moreover they talked to us just like friend's. The teachers were so supportive

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
