College is a bit strict. Nothing more. Overall it's very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good, but as this depends on university, college have no role in it. But it could add more relevant topics, than giving outdated technologies. Most of the topics are outdated, which is of no use in studying, says the faculty itself. So university can improve its standards in making the curriculum.
Placement Experience :
Placement records are very high in my college. We stand 3rd in our district for placement records. Also many companies are exclusive for our college alone. So this is a great opportunity and advantage to the students.
College Events :
Yagna Druva which is the National level inter college fest. Yavanika, which is the intra college fest, Prayaag, which is the technical fest including all the branches in our college. Onam, Christmas, Holi, are too celebrated. Film fests. Escapade, which is the sports meet of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is as per the Entrance commissioner. Not depending on the college. Ours is an Aided college, Government-Management undertaking. Mode of payment is online. It's varies for Merit, Management and NRI students. NRI students need not wrote entrance and so their fee is finalized by the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have scholarship from government via college. Namely, E-grantz. The exam fee is given back. This is for Economically backwards students of the college.
Campus Life :
Our college is Women's only. So all the works are done by Us alone. We have massive platforms for debates, robotics, etc. IEEE, IEDC, debate clubs are working actively at college. There's no politics in college. Just Union, which is elected by students. Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis, and Athletics are there at college. Also, Chess is a very active item too.
Hostel Facilities :
No. I have no ported for college hostel or private hostel. I'm a native itself. My home is nearly 2kms from college. I travel everyday in my personal bike. Hostel of college is inside the college itself. Many students accommodate here. They have high standards, but heard like, food is a bit low standards.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, Alumni meet is don't at college at certain intervals. They are very helpful for us, as they help us with recommendations to companies to visit our college for placements.
Admission :
The college I'm studying in is the only women's engineeringcollege in Kerala. Also, the placement records are fantastic here. The pass percentage and Faculty standards are higher. Extra curricular activities are also given high priority. National Service scheme, Quiz teams, sports, Arts are given equal importance with academics.
Faculty :
The faculty at the college is great. All of them has very good knowledge on what they are tecahing and they give their complete attention to it. They have the ability clear all our doubts. They are still studying and acquiring more and more knowledge, which is a great inspiration to us.
