Course Curriculum Overview :

I rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive, scoring 4 out of 5. The curriculum aligns perfectly with my career goals, covering all essential aspects of the field, and the course structure allows for a gradual build-up of knowledge. Practical projects and case studies help bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 8500 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement.the Highest package porvided is around 7 lacks per anum and tha average package is about 4 lacks per anum.more than 90% of atudents are getting placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is 8500 per a year and exam fee about 4000 haa to be paid during each semester. During the admission we need to pay buss fee about 6000 and pta fee about 7000. We get e grands and other central government and private sector scolarships

Campus Life :

The national level multi tech and art fest invento is held every 2 years. And a seperate college lvel art fest daksha is held every year in the even semester.every department has seperate library along with a college central library.

Hostel Facilities :

A government Ladies hostel and mens hostel is there with 100 housing capacity.and several private hostels are found near the college .a maximum of 4 people are there in a room.the meal quality and menu is pretty good and affordable.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Admission :

We neet to clear the Kerala engineering entrance exam KEAM. We apply though the official website and application fee is under 1000 rupees. cast based reservation system is there for admission. There are maths , physics and chemistry mcq in exam.

The faculty-to-student ratio has a significant impact on my learning experience. With a smaller ratio, I receive personalized attention and guidance from instructors, fostering a deeper understanding of course material. The faculty's impressive credentials and passion for teaching create a supportive and challenging environment.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
