Course Curriculum Overview :

There are well maintained and well equipped labs where students can get information about all the topics by practical learning. The curriculum can help a person to get a well paid job. Also, a student can learn alot about moral values as well.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee for msc zoology is 40000 yearly. Various scholarships are available for sc st castes.. Apart from that, 1000 rupees as other charges can be taken for other activities in form of department funds and for tickets.. Trip charges are excluded from fees and it costs 2000-5000 per person

Campus Life :

Different fests and fairs are organised in this college. Mostly in December January. Also, annual function is also organised here. There are two libraries in this college which are well ventilated and well furnished. Also, books, novels, journals of different genera are present there which can help students to broaden their horizons.. Apart from that, classrooms are also well furnished and well ventilated. Different pictures with important terms are hanged all around the rooms.

Admission :

Firstly, you must have completed bachelors from relevant University with 50% marks or more. For admission process, you can visit admin block. Or the department in which you want to take admission. Teachers there can help you in the admission process. They can provide you all the needful information about application process and can help you in admission as well.

Faculty :

Well educated and cooperative staff. Help students in learning topics through innovative methods. Also focus on practical learning along with theory. I often contact teachers whenever i have any doubt, and i instantly get solutions from them.

Lovely Professional University

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is average. It's like mid not bad nor that good. The pay is decent for freshers around 3-3.5 LPA. The student placement percentage would be around 60-70%. The major placements are mostly for MBA and Btech students and they have good salary too.

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for campus placements. Pharma companies like Sanofi, Dr. Reddy' s Laboratories, Novartis, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Eli Lilly etc. The highest package is 28 lakhs per annum and the average package per company is 6 lakhs. Almost 75% of the students get placed rest of them go for Phd's and business. My plan is to get placed in the upcoming campus placements

the course is constructed very nice way like every semester is well suited according to the industrial requirement of our domain , bioinformatics , as we have ngs , python , machine learning , sql ,r , data analysis, all the required field of our interest. but the teacher's let us explore our way ot our course, that's good though but sometimes this become hectic when you think about your future like you are not doing anything, futhermore there is a ample amount of time you'll get so you can do and improve your skills as per your interest. improvements can be done like if all teachers teach us from very basics and some use to do, as we all are from differnt- different background.

This includes petrology, mineralogy, stratigraphy, geochemistry, structural geology, hydrology, etc. Also, the latest updates in the field are included in the teaching.GIS training is also given here which now plays a crucial role in this field now. The syllabus is regularly updated with time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From 2018 batches there are 2 midterms and 2 end terms examinations in the year, one midterm and one end semester examination in each semester. Midterm are of 20 marks and usually contain only 1 unit or acc to syllabus covered. The end terms are 80 marks. The difficulty level depends on preparation, if you have prepared a complete syllabus then it will be a little relaxed as options are provided, out of 8 questions 5 are to be attempted.

Admission:

Govt College, Punjab offers variety of programs to the students including both pg and ug courses. MSc Mathematics is also there. The students willing to take admission must have completed Graduation in Mathematics. Then they will have to apply and give the entrance exam and based on their merit, they will be selected.
