- I like the infrastructure its mixture kinda old school and new innovationol and
- I like the library of college as it offers variety of books for reading without any charges
Dislikes
- I dislike that some teachers are not cooperative with students
- I dislike some of teachers only teach from books without giving any extra knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opt bachelors of commerce also known as bcom after doing commerce in 12th standard. I wanna pursue my career in business so that is why i choose this course. Bcom is tough course the main subjects are accountancy Business laws and economics Some of subjects are Commercial laws business laws english Gst psychology of managers etc So basically this course is all about business and accounts. Teachers teach in very innovative ways they teach therotically and pratically both so students find it interesting.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Hi Kashish here i m doing bcom from dev samaj college for women from ferozpur city i opt bachelors of commerce in 2023 and right now i m in 2nd year The total fees if all included is 70000 to 80000 but if we talk about only tution fees its 50000 and other charges are registration fees examination fees and also charges during any event organized in college etc I am from general category so i have to pay full fees without any scholarship and any other facilities Some of my friends are from sc category so college offer them scholarships and discounts.
Campus Life :
My college is famous for organising festivals and events. The main is youth festival which is held every year by panjab university for colleges so that students can participate in their most favourable activity Last year my college was choosen by panjab university to organize interzonal of youth fest students from different colleges and cities came from the competition Other events are like teeyan traditional festival of punjab etc are organised by my college My college also organise many workshops for learning different types of skills.
Admission :
I choose this college because it is nearby also my mother studied from this college and this college is old so its best and yes wanted to take admission in other colleges and universties like panjab university and Sd college of chandigarh but at the end i find this college more convinent and comfortable for me also many friends of mine are in this college.
Faculty :
My college have so many faculties in every department. I am student of commerce department and teachers and faculties of my department are very much cooperative i like the way they respond to students issues i like the way they take action immediately for every issue described by students Other faculties are offered by arts and science department i always feel like arts faculity members are so much better than our commerce department . Exams are held by panjab university twice a year in every semester exams are quite difficult but depends on the intelligence of students Also mid semester tests also known as mst are organized four times in a year by college to prepare students for upcoming final exams.
