AMU: A College for Almost anyone.

Dislikes

  • Hostels are not very and the food in hostels isn't very great.
  • The professors and the faculty isn't very good too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is Decent. Not very good, not bad too. Just decent. Exams happen at three times in a semester. At start of the semester, im beginning and at the end of it. Some famous courses like Engineering and Commerce are Good in terms of getting you ready for the real world.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee Structure is one of the things that'll suit anyone here because fee is very low. In BTech CSE. Whole 4 years of course cost you only 75-80 Thousand. There are some scholarships available but a lot of students apply for them so it is kind of hard to get.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of Clubs revolving around different things. You have Music Club. Film Club. Sports club. A club for Employees too known as Staff club. Students are very Involving in things. You literary club and all.

Admission :

Admission process was easy. You fill and application form for the course you want to do and then you appear for it's entrance. If you clear the cutoff you'll get the desired seat if you don't you'll be im waiting list like if some people leave it you can have it types.

Faculty :

All the faculty members are Qualified greatly have that good teaching instinct. Like some great teachers have. Faculty members are nice but some are not and some departments are that great.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.
