Entrance Preview

AIPMT, I choose medical stream because I always was passionate about it and it is a dream for me to be a doctor .

Internships Opportunities

After the 5 year course there is one year internship which is compulsory and will be provided by college .

College Events

In first year seniors organise fresher's party for the new comers and there is an annual sports meet as well , i also got to know from the seniors about the annual fest being organised here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Seats here are divided in two sets one is the semi govt seat which is 2,20k per annum and the other is 6,60k per annum. Which is management seat , management seat is expensive as you may see but if you have good marks in entrance marks try to get semi govt.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have much knowledge about this but they do rent books in the library which you can return at the end of the session .

The new curriculum is too good because now its baaed upon competencies a medical studtent should achieve after graduating,which is necessary so indeed it prepare us for the real world applications The teaching method now used is mostly on ppt's which can be changed to a better mode like using boards to engage student in a better way according to me And the exams ,wether its formative assessment or send ups or the final exams are planned very correctly so that a student can prepare for the finals in a way that it doesn't build up too much pressure on the students

Life at GMC Patiala

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.

I had a domicile of punjab as I had studied for my 10th and 12 th in punjab. It was the best option for me because of the language too, it helps to be proficient in the local language to converse with the patients.
