- The most I like is College campus, although its not as big as IITs but it is covered with trees all around, we have all type of sport facilities within the campus including cricket ground, table tennis court, volley and an indoor sports complex.
- Second thing campus itself have a stationary which is stationary less and a snack shop more and we also have cafe area inside college where you got everything from breakfast to tasty dishes, we also have a dining hall where we get lunch at low price
Dislikes
- Everything here is good, except we can't use sports complex and ground after 11pm.
- There is only one cultural event take place every year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We got our curriculum before the start of our semester which is strictly followed by the college and everything was according to it. We have subject which are necessary for placement and different labs for various visual study purpose
Internships Opportunities :
Mastercard, paypal, Deutsch bank, golden sachs and many good campany visit our college to provide internship. And for the second year student our department use the alumini network to get students place. Although only few students are intern in 2nd year. And for placement many companies have their visit. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So for all branch except biomedical engineering and IT engineering, the fee structure is as follow, about 1 lakh 21 thousand for the 1st year and then 1lakh 15 thousand for 2nd 3rd and 4th year. The fee of mentioned two branch is more than other branch . Although college have a special seat called TWF (tuition fee waiver), the students alloted these seat have to pay approx 30 thousand per year, there are 4to 5 seat of this kind.
Campus Life :
Our college have different club including Pratibimb for art and photography enthusiasts, nature club , club ojaswa which is personality development club, gsmotor is a club which design amd make formula car and many more club. And far from this every branch have a departmental club which are only for departmental students. We have a cultural fest every year , we also have dj night which was awesome every year. Our college have many more event which are organised by different club and it all was good.
Hostel Facilities :
Ok so we have 3 boys hostel one for 1st year student , 2nd for 2nd year student and 3rd for 3rd and 4th year student. Every hostel have its mess, where students have their breakfast lunch and dinner. The hostel is inside the college and it is much near to our lecture hall. College also have girl hostel which on the opposite side of boys hostel. And the last the mess food become good as you move from one hostel to another.
Admission :
To get in SGSITS indore u have to appear for jee main exam and then do the mpdte councelling then according to the cutoff you are alloted seat. For the branch ETC cutoff was approx 96-96 percentile or approx 36 thousand rank.
Faculty :
Although all the faculties are not so good and mostly senior faculty and good and approachable. For every 10 students we got a mentor which are generally from your department (branch). They conduct weakly mentor mentee session where we discussed our problem with them. In our college we have different departments for every branch and many lab and in Madhya Pradesh we are out of 3 college which have VLSI chip designing lab.
