- The campus is a little far from the city which means we cannot go out frequently.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum distribution is good but the student has to be serious in studying in order to get good marks and grades. The college conducts quizzes, mid term and exams every semester. Quizzes are typically for 20-30 minutes and mid semester is for 1.5 hours and exam is for 3 hours. The questions may differ a lot in the level of difficulty for each year.
Internships Opportunities :
We should do two internships while in college, one at the end of 2nd year which is not a paid internship and is just for the first interaction of the student with the real life workplaces and the other in the fourth year where the student actually works for the company, and the stipend ranges form 30000 to 150000
Placement Experience :
The placements are good considering the lower hiring in the market at present. As the market now is focusing more on skill rather than the degree, it is better for students to learn additional skills in order to get good placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course does justice to the money we pay but at last it is the responsibility of the student to avail the benefit of a good college and get maximum out of it. It is very reasonable to a student who uses all the resources efficiently and study.
Campus Life :
We have three fests per year Atmos- technical fest where technical clubs participate and conduct workshops. Arena- sports fest where people from several colleges come and play tournaments arranged by our college and can win prize money. And lastly, Pearl- cultural fest where all the cultural clubs perform and arrange workshops and contests.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are very good. The hostels are well equipped and hygiene is maintained regularly. The students have to stay in 2-person sharing rooms till the end of 2nd year and they will be given single rooms from the start of 3rd year.
Admission :
We have to write Bitsat in order to be eligible to apply for admission. We must have 75% minimum in PCM boards and 60% in each of PCM. Then we get seats allotted based on the score and the preference list of the courses we choose. The level of questions is not harder than JEE but speed and accuracy is the key
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is very good which helps the students to meet them regularly if they have doubts. Thea faculty are highly educated and most of them also have PhD's and also have industrial work experience. We can interact often with the faculty at least once or twice on weekly basis.
