What Students Say
Likes
- Behavior of staff during admissions, can't say same for post admissions.
Dislikes
- Casual behaviour of faculty towards students and curriculum.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was severely outdated, with least emphasis on the practical learning which is ironical for a course like Journalism and Mass communication. The emphasis was just on the theory lecture and even there not in a single semester the syllabus was completed on time.
Internships Opportunities
Internship was an integral part of my degree curriculum but we weren't provided any internship opportunities from the college end, we had to look for opportunities either from our own connections or through online platforms.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not too expensive but definitely not value for money if you're looking for good Return on investment. I don't have any personal experiences with the scholarship programs because none was provided. Additionally we were required to maintain a certain percentile every semester otherwise the fee was increased for the next one.
Campus Life
The overall campus life was very dull as restrictions were more strict than my school. No exiting the campus after entering without written permission. Strict uniform rules. And over burdening of students of students for activities which makes no sense at all.
Admission
The entire emphasis of the administration was on the administration process only, so it was very smooth and I didn't face any difficulties during the time of admission. I didn't have to give any entrance exam to get admission in the university.
Faculty
Through the 3 year duration of my course there was so much uncertainty regarding the faculty members that no faculty member has been constant from our first till the end semester. Also majority of the faculty of the faculty members were alumni of the same college with limited to no experience in teaching.
