Course Curriculum Overview :

Btech is a nice course to study i was dreaming for this course to study since my childhood so i am really lucky to achieve my goal of studying this course.It is said that engineers shape a nation that's exactly what it is .This sentence really influences me to this curriculum. The curriculum prepares us for the real world application in many fields. It's importance in the real world is much.Also it maintains the academic pursuits as it is necessary for a academic excellence. The course curriculum should be more practical type then theoretical.It will be very much helpful for us then. The frequency and timing of exams in the institute are balanced very well.Also the question difficulty level are excellent.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees are increased by 8-10% after every 2-3 years .It should be fixed. The 4 year of the BTech course cost around 3-4 lakh including all activities and services. Government offer various type of scholarship such as Ishan Uday scholarship, Minority scholarship etc. The placement is quite good in our institution .

Campus Life :

The institute has seven colleges under it every college has their own annual and technical festival.Like AEC has Pyrokinesis, JEC has Phoenix ,DEC has Euphoria etc. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library should be increased so that students find it easy to learn. Facilities and technological provision in the institute are really good. The institute lack in the field of sports and extracurricular activities.The institute should held several sports and other extracurricular activities for the students.

Admission :

We have to pass the CEE exam and after the counseling process we are allotted to any college under ASTU. The application form , application fees , application dates are available at the official ASTU website at www.astu.in . Provide reservation for backward classes such as SC ,ST ,OBC NCL, specially abled student,EWS. The frequency and timing of exam in the institute are good enough.Also the difficulty level is quite good. The admission process in the institute are good also the staff is really helpful throughout the process.

Faculty :

The faculty of the institute should be increased there should be sufficient faculty to teach the students here.Student and teachers ratio should be looked into for successful learning and growth of the institute. Faculties should adopt some new approaches to teaching to make learning more simple,easy and amazing.Eagerness to teach should be in them with a energetic mindset so that the students also feels like studying then. We interact with teachers and approachability very often.The teachers here are good mannered they are always ready to help us out.

Faculty members are the best part of the college.

Placement Experience:

Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vodafone, Jio etc. Our college provides better placements compared to other private colleges.

How is it like to be a student of The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've been enthusiastic about exploring more about software and programming which influenced me to choose the course of Computer Science Engineering. With further development of artificial intelligence, it opens up better learning and job opportunities for students. In my university, computer science is taught by experienced teachers and faculty but it would be better if they were more inclusive of certain topics which are extremely important for the students and raising the level of teaching including practical learning and understanding and also examining the student's capability is one of the aspects to be included.
