- The location of the college is something everyone will hate.
- It's near a small village and between kilometres of farms.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The syllabus and subjects of business analytics and big data specialization was the main thing that got me interested in this course and college. Curriculum might not be considered best for real world application, but it is enough for further academic pursuits. Frequency and timings of exams is not an issue but sometimes the questions might be harder than necessary, especially in financial/accounting courses.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are plenty, don't expect stipend most of the times. Placement team not considering new prospects, only previous companies being called except a few new ones. Internship can be virtual or in office. There's no problem with that. And enough cities are covered in the internships that you'll have no problem selecting the one you want.
Placement Experience :
From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for placements. The companies visiting are the big 4, Hyundai, Bajaj Finserv, etc. The highest package of the college stays at around 16 Lakh CTC while the average is around 6 Lakh CTC.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee hike is generally not there, but summer semester fee might be hiked by a huge margin. Campus has clubs that are existing for the sake of it. The funds and stipends don't get processed at all.
Campus Life :
There is no problem with events. There's too many to count and no month will go fully dull here. The books and library have no problems as they contain all the relevant material one would need in the college. All classrooms and halls are equipped with air conditioning and a pc+ projector. Sports can be called as non existent, even though some students play among themselves if they want.
Admission :
Eligibility of course has some basic requirements and the rest is dependent on your previous academics plus your Personal interview. Reservation benefits are not known to me. The admission process is fine. I Could have more communication but overall it's okay.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is pretty good. There's enough teachers for the 200 students in an MBA year. The faculty is mostly consisting of teachers that hold a doctorate (PhD) and are well qualified to be teaching there.
Interview Experience :
There was no group discussion for the admission process. Personal interview was there. Question regarding why mba, why did you leave your previous field and why should we take you would be there. The process is application form, then PI that's all.
