Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Electronics theories like VLSI design, PLC, automation and communication technology like analog and digital communication. As autonomous college, they prepare a real world usable curriculum from previous alumni's reference.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is different this year. The companies took 50% less students from the previous year. MNCs like Accenture, Capgemini, TCS came also with other start-ups like ZScaler offered highest of 26 LPA. Average salary is around 4 LPA. 30% of our department students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such changes in fee structure from the day one till last. For full time BTech it costs 4.1 Lakhs and for lateral entry students it cost 3.1 Lakhs. While I was internal student (done diploma from the same college) I got a wave off of 60000. No internal scholarships are given as of my knowledge.
Campus Life
Cultural fest like Navodaya and technical fest like Kritanj are organised every year. Libraries possess wide range of books for study and reference. Every classrooms are provided smart boards. Computer labs have air conditioners. Science club, art and culture club, coding clubs are there to join
Admission
You have to have a rank in JEE or advanced. But you have to record a rank under 4000 to get in. Though sometimes the rank is not the criteria. The exams are taken timely. Two internal exams both of 30 marks and a end semester exam of 70 marks. Difficulty is moderate
Faculty
Number of faculties per student can be detained as 1:30. There are assistant professor and lab attendants as well to help students with their needs. Faculties are mostly intuitive and approachable. But students must need to ask. without asking the teachers are prone to go on with their lecture.
