Remarks :

I think I am blessed to have such a wonderful time in my life as I have been to NIT AGARTALA. I think each and every student should visit the campus once as it has a good infrastructure and weather of Agartala is too good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

According to me, the course curriculum over there is really appreciable because they covered each subject. Exam structure includes two exams in each semester firstly we have our mid term exam followed by the end term exam and practical exams are also there for the labs.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are really good. I belong to civil engineering department and I am placed in Larsen and Toubro LTD and i think it's the best job for me. Ya my college use to provide internships. I got a two month internship in L&T ECC and got accommodation for free over there.

College Events :

We used to celebrate various events in our college. When it comes to technical events we have Aayam as our technical event and when it comes to the cultural event then we used to celebrate the MOKSHA as the cultural event for 4 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee Structure of my college is too feasible as we need to pay just around 40,000 per semester as our tuition fees and hostel fees was around 20,000 including mess charges and if you are not there for a month in the hostel your hostel fees will be refunded to you.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are various different different scholarships for the students. If you belong to a poor family then you will be able to apply for your state scholarship and central scholarship as well and our college used to provide scholarship to study in different IITS if you are the topper in your department.

Campus Life :

NIT Agartala is well known for its extra curricular activities. Many clubs are there to involve the students in extra curricular activities. Laboratories are well maintained and equipments are too good over there. Sports Complex is there and students used to participate in various sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I opted for the hostel and hostel was well maintained. There wasn't any ragging related issue. Anti ragging committee was there. Faculties used to visit the hostel on daily basis. Infrastructure of my hostel was really good and various facilities were provided to us.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni association is there in the college. Dean Alumni is there and he used to appoint General Secretary and assistant General Secretary under him to contact with alumni. We used to celebrate Alumni Meet every year to maintain proper relationship between students and alumni.

Admission :

On the basis of Joint Entrance Examination. First I filled the form of JEE and after that I appeared for the exam and after that I secured that much marks in JEE so that I could be the eligible candidate for further process. I just filled the choices of different NITs as per my choice and I got NIT Agartala.

Faculty :

When it comes to the faculty and staff of my college, I would like to say that I was just blessed to have such supportive faculties over there. They have a good knowledge in their respective subjects.

The overall college is really good you will enjoy a lot

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

tuition tuition fee is like it will depends on the early income of your family if it's lower than 1 lakh there are some subsidies and if it's like between 1 to 5 legs there different subsidies and if it's over 5 or 8 legs the fee is really really high it's like 72 80k for each and every semester and the if I talk about the hostel fee the hostel fees around 30000 semester

Let's know all about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are getting offered for college placements. There are total 300-400 companies visit in our college and make around 600-700 offers. I got placed in ORC ENGINEERING having a LPA of 2.5-3.5 . The highest package of 2024 year is round 40 lakhs and average package is roughly around 5 LPA. Around Total 60% students placed this year. My next plan is to prepare for gate exams along with my jobs.

A Good College

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placement from 3rd year itself. Though it is highly unlikely that placement offers come in 3rd year as it comes mostly in 4th year, but there has been cases where 3rd year students also get placed. Besides placement, one can even get good internships which based upon their performance can later get turned to a placement offer. Many good companies have visited and have hired students from this college.

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Gennerally, students who maintained their cgpa above 7.5 gets placed. There were many companies which visited for placements. Software firms such as Oracle, Nvidia, Paypal, Seimens, Paytm, Rapido, Mathworks, Dell, Qualcomm, Chargebee, etc. Core manufacturing companies such as Vedanta oil and gas, Dalmia, Maruti suzuki, CEAT tyres, Ashok Leyland, etc. The percentage rate of placement is around 85%. The highest package is INR 52 LPA offered to CSE and EE branch students. Also Oracle offered placements to around 20 students with CTC of INR 35 LPA. Average package of CSE if INR 14.5 LPA whereas for ECE, it is INR 13.84 LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to get good placement from the college where i can get good work experience and also i am planning to do masters from IIt for which i will prepare for gate examination.
