Course Curriculum Overview :

Relevance: 9/10 Comprehensiveness: 8.5/10 The curriculum's relevance is high, as it covers a wide range of topics in psychology, aligning with industry demands and research advancements. Specific aspects like cognitive psychology, research methods, and clinical psychology have likely influenced your decision to choose this course. The curriculum effectively prepares you for real-world applications, such as counseling, research, or further academic pursuits like a master's or Ph.D. To improve the curriculum: - Incorporate more practical sessions, case studies, or projects to enhance real-world applicability. - Include emerging topics like neuropsychology, positive psychology, or psychology in the digital age. - Encourage more interdisciplinary approaches, integrating insights from fields like neuroscience, sociology, or Philosophy

Placement Experience :

I myself am in 1st year I don't have a big knowledge about this but yes placements are there in every college. Talking about mine Bcom hona gets the most placed. Rather than this i really don't a have a vast knowledge about this

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

okay so the fees of our college last year was around 19000 but this year idk why the fees increased to 35000 of mostly every course. Complete maximum cost would be around 40000/year including all the canteen and photocopy and stationery things, this wouldn't go higher. See there are literally a 100 of scholarships and you can apply to any of them . Our college supports and keeps reminding every day of the new scholarships, you just need to keep on checking about them. This year only our college has the Delhi University Internship Fair so yeah you have opportunities for internships too. I'll tell you that internship are solely dependent on you and college doesn't make a difference, it can only provide with them.

Campus Life :

Overall campus life is great if you attend college regularly and attend events and participate and win. Manjari is our annual fest and it's sooo funny i loved it this year looking forwards to next year There are literally a 1000 societies, i don't even know half of them There's a club for any and everything. NCC Dance society - Zenith(western) -Alaiah(Indian) Singing society -encore(western) -we also have Indian music I just don't remember the name NGOs , clubs everything you can think of Literally filled with opportunities you just need to know how to use them

Admission :

Admission process takes a really really long time but it's for every college of delhi university. As you know about reservation in Indian the cutoff for general is really high for courses like bcom Hons, history Hons, English Hons, Psychology hons, but it's not impossible. For North campus being general you should score atleast 700+ and for prevelant courses you should score 750+ in the CUET exam. Application form and everything is in the site of delhi university which is very easy to access. Reservation in delhi university is like heaven. I have a friend of ST category she got history Hons in 500+ score only whereas for general you should score 750+ for a north campus college to get history Hons or bcom Hons. If you have reservation benefits do use it it freakin beneficial

Faculty :

As I previously said the faculty of my course is great, the teachers are so helpful you are never lost. I'm not sure about the faculty to student ratio but teachers are available for you 24/7. Psychology department of our college is the 2nd best of the whole Delhi University so obviously that means faculty is good. You should attend classes regularly but as for me who doesn't attend so many classes still teachers explain and are available for every student at any time given.

Other Applied Colleges

Lady Shri Ram College for Women - [LSR] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Psychology)

The general cutoff was really high for psychology

Students typically become eligible for campus placement in their final year, starting from the 5th or 6th semester. Several reputed companies visit Delhi university such as Times Of India, NDTV, Wipro, TCS and many more. The highest package for English hons graduates can range from 8-10 lakh per annum. Generally, 60-80% of the students gets placed. After getting the degree some students prepare for competitive exams like UGC-NET, UPSC etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do civil services preparation that's why I chose the BA program. This course gives me insight and knowledge about all those subjects which are needed further. My classes start at 9:40 a.m. and end at 2-3 p.m. Overall, there is no need for improvement in teaching. All the teachers are good and helpful.

See In our Admissions process We get to See many changes in the Admissions process and then the Education process like implement of New Education Policy 2020 which makes us deal with so many subject which are 7 in number and but talking about my college the teaching methods of the faculty members mainly based on the orally explaining the things or teaching through visuals like PPT which some How help us to understand the in a good and proper way. Talking about Curriculum through NEP2020 it give exposure to learn the different different subject according to our wishes and it also help ua that we are not only engage with one subject we are learning many thing from one places so I am happy with Curriculum and faculty members of my college.

After 4th semester, students can sit for placements. One of the companies is ZS which selected 8 students. The highest package is 10 Lakh and the average is 6Lakhs. Almost 20% of students get placed. I want to pursue an MBA.

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing political science was more of my passion for going deep into the roots of society by knowing the technical know-hows of the polity as well. And yes this course is also a tool that aids students preparing for civils. So for me opting this was a mixture of both reasons. The student-faculty ratio if spoken about, approx 250 students in the dept. and there is a team of 10 teachers. So yeah it is 1:25 approx. If we talk about the qualifications, all the faculties here without exception are highly qualified. One gets to see a combination of professors, associate professors and assistant professors here. But all of them are well versed in the respective papers. The teaching method used by most of them is great and excellent, while for the remaining some of them it's up to the mark. Exams are taken by DU as the authority and the college just has to conduct them. So yes they're quite regular and on time. About passing them, I would say, the level here is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To prepare myself for civil services examinations, I chose the combination of history and political sciences in the BA Programme. The student ratio in my college is mostly male-dominated. But people come here from all the areas of the country, so it's 65:35. The faculty is great and knowledgeable and despite not much high-quality architecture, you will find the professors very intriguing. The term exams were according to the annual calendar released by the university and even if you seriously study for 15 days you can pass easily.

I am in the fifth semester and there is no student placed in my course yet because of that there is no highest lowest or average package to tell. There were companies offering internships but most of those were offering either content writing kind of internships or marketing internships I personally am not interested in any of those so I never tried for the internships.
