The college is near to town and so the travel facility are good
The college provides 5 different engineering displines.

The campus area is little bit small and looks like congested.
No proper ground facility for the college itself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The time of my admission was at the time of the pandemic. So it affected a lot. But on the way it was okie to digest it. The course provides a real world experience for the students to prepare well. The exams are held at regular intervals preparation ther students well and evaluating them.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 8650 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies offering interships. The college is providing good opertunities for the students to do a better internship programmes. Most of the students smare doing intership with no stipends. The duration of the interships are 7-14 days.

Placement Experience :

From the very 6th semester the students are eligible for the placements. There are many companies visiting the college including TCS, Welspun, Cognizant, Sutherland, Infosys, Intellipaat, Mitsogo, Schneider, QBurst etc.. The companies provide a good package for the students. Most of the students are getting placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course has a normal fee as the other colleges. The complete cost will not cross and amount of 50000-60000 for the 4 years. There are availability of many scholarships for the students including Egrantsz, Vidyasammunnathi etc

Campus Life :

The campus provides a good overall experience. There are arts fests, technical fests, sports and many other programmes conducted in the college. The college has a good central library and department libraries for each departments. The campus has a good sports team.

Admission :

The admission process was really good. The addmission was through the entrance named KEAM. The students were alloted as per their rank. Reservation were available for the admission and it will should provided at the time of application. The exams were held at regular intervals. There were internals exams and other exams for the students.

Faculty :

The faculty availability in the college is good. The teachers are well qualified and are good to approach. They provide quality education for the students. The faculty also has a friendly approach with the students.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
