Course Curriculum Overview :

Btech course is for 4 years/8 semester under Kerala technical University. Odd semester exam conducted in November Month and even semester exams on April.Each semester contain 2 series test.Final year contain seminar, course Viva, main project, mini project, Industrial training.

Placement Experience :

In 2018 Placement is less. 2 bank come for placement. Chemical Engineering course has high job opportunity in refineries, petrochemical industries etc. Yes college provide internship in refineries, petrochemical industries etc for 1 month.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Rs 6000/ year is the normal course fees. Reserved students have low fees as per government rule. College provide bus to Kozhikode town. In this college no uniform dress, uniform only for lab work and exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Many government scholarship provide like Egrantz, MOMA, Egrantz scholarship for economically backwards students. Moma scholarship for minorities like Sikh, Muslim, Christian students. Many nationalised and commercial Bank provide loans.

Campus Life :

In all department contain modern equipped labs.Each lab contain 1-2 cores equipment.Well talented lab assistant also provide. In college campus contain big play ground.Every month there will conducted Sports activities.

Hostel Facilities :

There will be provide only girls Hostel. college has one ladies hostel with an intake of 150. Procedure for hostel admission is as per the institute norms. The students and other activities in the hostels are under the supervision of a warden.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, senior provide some relation with companies for recruitment.The association will cater to the needs of all the passed out students of this institution. Members: Any person that have completed graduation/post graduation from GEC Kozhikode is an ordinary member of the GECK Alumni association.

Admission :

I get admission through this college through Lateral Entry Test(LET) conducted board of technical education Kerala.Throuh this exam we get admission directly to second year. LET is only for Diploma students.

Faculty :

Faculties are highly qualified. Most of teachers are PhD, mtech.They understand everything about curriculum. They clarify doubts friendly mind. Most of the Faculties take class based on power point presentation.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.
