Placements at NSHM are great as I myself was placed at Amazon through college placements.
There is a pond inside the campus and the view from their in evening is jaw dropping as most students enjoy the sunset from there.

Dislikes

The campus is old and therefore some of the furniture in th classrooms needs to be changed as it has torn out.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I eat, sleep, drink, and rest computers, so therefore I chose BCA. BCA at NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur has been inspired by Amazon as they have set up a lab and also there is a fully developed Mac lab and we used to have all our practicals there. As usual we already have so many languages and still there was always one unnecessary subject in each semester. I wish that this thing changes as rest all is fine.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college still managed to get 80% of the students in our batch placed. All big IT giants such as Wipro, Amazon, Apple, Capgemini, and HCL Tech came for placements and hired most of us with an average annual package of 5 lakhs a year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is very cheap as the kind of reputation that NSHM holds, 1 lakh a year is nothing. I have friends studying in other private universities and they are paying 3x of what I am paying. Also, there are quite a few scholarships available as ENMAT toppers get their fees half if they appear in top 10.

Campus Life :

Honestly there is an annual fest but for two years we couldnt have that becaus of Covid. Infrastructure is good as the college area is good enough and it's located at a landscape where we see greenery throughout. Labs, libraries and hostels were magic top but sports facilities were rare.

Admission :

12th pass with 60 and one has to appear for MAUKATCET or ENMAT. Just 60 seats is all that our colleg had so theres no other way other than getting into the merit list. Exams had to be rescheduled as we were hit by Covid back to back in 2020 and 2021.

Faculty :

Faculties are amazing while some of them are passed out from the same college, they have knowledge and experience. In BCA, there are way too many languages and stuff and one has to go hand in hand with the faculties to have a thorough knowledge of the subject.

Placement Experience:

For placement students become eleigtafyer the last year or the graduation year of the college as for internship it is available after 1 year. You are given job at companies like TCS , WIPRO HELINAGE etc. With an average package of 8-10 lakhs per year. 70-80% of the students are placed at such companies. As for me I will go a different path and thinking of starting my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computers are the future and hence this course is one of the best to learn about it. Further learning and real world application is there on BCA, helping you get a job in the future run in a IT world The timing of the exam are a little close to each other There are internals every month for 4months and then the semester exam which has a difficulty level of 8.
