- The environment is very peaceful and calm
- The subjects given every semester are planned according to what will be useful during placement and in the corporate world
Dislikes
- The location, if the campus was a bit near City area it would have been better
- Sometimes the management is not upto the mark like classes clash with other courses classes
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum till now was a mix of course-related subjects and subjects that are necessary for placement and the corporation. I feel like we should study more course-related subjects like I in bcom hons would like to know more about accounting and finance.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My fees is almost 65k rupees and it is said to increase by five per cent every year. Yes, scholarship is provided in first semester in basis of your 12th class percentage and is carried on on the basis of your CGPA. But please remember to fill yes for scholarship on your form or else you won't get any type of scholarship. More scholarships are available like if anyone in your family is from the army and few more like these are also available.
Campus Life :
The campus is actually nice I prefer these types of colleges only. I like that the college is small compared to other colleges. The area is nice and peaceful. There are many places one can visit and the view is just breathtaking. There are many clubs one can join and it is an all-inclusive College with a queer club as well. There are 3 cafes on campus, excluding the one in girls' hostel also there are a few eateries outside the campus like friends corner, Yellow Leaf and Pindi Punjabi.
Hostel Facilities :
It is located almost at the top of the campus. The facilities provided are not that great. We have 4 common bathrooms at every floor which can be nasty. But the cleansing staff does their job really well and are quite friendly( be friendly with them or you might be the next topic of their bitching session). The mess is also quite clean with a self-service area where you can buy snacks like chips, juice and ice cream. We also have a cafe in the girls hostel where you can buys snacks eat food and buy daily necessities.
Admission :
The admission process is pretty easy you just fill a form, give a short entrance test which is more like a formality and you get into the college. It's not at all complicated. But I suggest you take admission during campus visit to see if the conditions here are favourable or not.
Faculty :
I study in the management department and speaking for the management faculty the teachers are really good in their field. They have PHD in their subjects or are persuing their PHD while teaching us. The student teacher ratio differ from class to class but none the less speaking from my experience the teachers know their students and how they perform in class, they may not know our name but know our performance. They upload the eUniv regularly as well as give us quizes.
Other Applied Colleges

The main reason was the location as well as the restrictions on the students studying there.
