Inside story of my college

Dislikes

  • Campus is too small even smaller than my school

Course Curriculum Overview :

I didn't choose this course by myself.my sister told me choose this course. The curriculum is too old,it doesn't fits with today's real world applications. The curriculum should be Changed now and teaching should be more focused on practical based not theroy based. The exams and frequency of timing of a exams is ok

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year onwards students become eligible. Doesn't know the namee of companies but tier 2,tier3 companies visits The average package is 1-2 lakh per annum for my course and for CSE course the avg package is 2-4 lakh per annum From a particular course avg of 40-50 percent students get placed I am planning to prepare for GATE exam for further studies

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For me i get reservation quota so i have paid 1500rs in first year and 530 rs in second year.for me there is no issue with college fees.for me i get government of India post matric scholarship which pays my whole college fee including exam fees No,i haven't take any campus employment

Campus Life :

Very few functions and festivals are in college The accessibility of books and journals is good.their is wide range of books and journals in Library The technological facilities are not good in classrooms Very few extracurricular activities offered in campus Yes few students run students group on social media like Instagram WhatsApp It doesn't have that much impact on students life

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility are average. The meal quality is good The registration process is easy but not easy to afford

Admission :

I get through mhtcet exam and score 80 percentile and applied for this course . The application form, fees, dates depends on that particular college you are applying. Yes you gets the all the reservation benifits depends on which category you belong too. Provide the online admission process so the long distanced students get the benifit of it

Faculty :

The faculty members are not too well qualified and the same teacher is teaching another subject to another branch students. Some faculty staff are good but the others are just came in the class, read their notes, pressure the students for attendance, and go. Doesn't explain the concepts well. Due to that I never interact with teachers for my doubts.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester itself. Last year a ton of companies visited the campus right from TCS, Infosys, and Accenture to ZS associates, Veritas, etc. There is a good opportunity for nontech branches also in the college, the package is not high but it is good. According to the college, almost 78% of students got the placements. The highest packages were 45 LPA Amazon, 44 LPA Microsoft, and 36.5 LPA D.E.Shaw. The majority of the placements above 12 LPA were off campus, few were on campus. My plans after getting a degree are to be placed in good company with a good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the students are given electives to choose and we also have the compulsory courses too, common for all. The electives could be chosen based on varied interests of students and are very engaging. The compulsory courses are chosen and kept very wisely and are essential for computer science and engineering students. The courses and evaluation plans are very well created and curated for students to be able to solve real world problems too later in professional and personal lives. There aren't much suggestions and areas to improve as of now. Exams and tests are conducted almost every two weeks. This keeps the students keen on learning and practicing all the while and doesn't let them slag in between the semester. The exams are monitored from the headquarters at Pune, and hence all is kept under check and maintained.

Placement Experience:

As our college provides placement on our Campuses the opportunity to grab placement is quite simple but not much as there is competition among 3 colleges, although the maximum students who get placed through campus placements, is around 60%.
