We can select the subject we want to study by our own choice. We just need to finish 38 subjects to complete degree certifications
We can select the faculty we like but we need to select within the availability of the subject.

Dislikes

Uniforms are always mandatory then won't allow you without uniform and Id card.
They'll conduct more extra activities like paper presentation and other things and they'll say everything is mandatory

Course Curriculum Overview :

The working experience in live projects and implementation on the real world will help us to develop our knowledge. They'll conduct paper presentation program for implementation our ideas to the world and industrial experts will correct our mistakes and give suggestions on it. For every 3-4 months we have sem exams and they'll conduct 3 model exams for internals.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

They'll give all the internship opportunities and provides real time certifications for Zoho and other companies. We need to do a mini project and a project for course completion. It'll be mentioned in the course certificate.

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester we are eligible to attend campus placements. There is a seperate department for placements. They'll provide the practice and knowledge to get placed in a good company. As of my knowledge the highest package received is 24lakhs per anum. There is a record for 100% placements every year. I'm planning to join in a well published software company for a good package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For BE computer science and engineering, if we have 12th marks more than 80% the fee is 1.1l, if 60-80% the fee is 2.4l and below 60% the fee is above 3l. There will be exam fees of 600/- per subject and uniform fee of 3000/- sometimes the cultural fees will be like 2500/- No scholarships are available here you can get any sponsorship through companies. I'm still in the final year I didn't got my placements yet but my seniors got placed for good salary.

Campus Life :

There are lots of symposiums held every moths by every department they have like cyberpunk, technopark, crackathon and debuggy like wise. There is a seperate library section for all kinds of books and for study material they'll provide a concept map booklet. Every class have its own projector and touch board for teachings. All the sports activities will be conducted by our own intrest.there are clubs available for music, dance, sports and games.

Admission :

For computer related subjects it's mandatory to complete cse in 12th grade and for biology related subjects it's mandatory to complete bio-maths in 12th grade. The applications will be available in online and on campus. The exams will be tough and 4 papers at a time of 4 months period. They'll provide all the facilities for admission and they'll take care of admission.

Faculty :

The faculty and student relationship is very good and responsive. We can contact the mentor and can get all the info we need. Every student will have their own mentor to guide them throughout the course duration. Every Friday they'll conduct mentor mentee meeting and we can share our course related problems and get the solution from mentor.

Placement Experience:

Students starting placed from their last semester. Reputed companies gave an offer. Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

SASTRA College Life- An Amazing Experience

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
