  • lack of teaching staff, so most of important subjects are taught by inexperienced hourly basis teachers
  • teaching staff as well as non teaching staff including guards are really rude. they won't listen to you.

Course Curriculum Overview :

despite of being autonomous college the curriculum is outdated and not what current industry standards demands. Practicle labs doesn't have any basic equipments like multimeter and all the practicles of core subject also we have to perform on PC or our own laptop laboratories doesn't have working pc for all students also. labs are not maintained well. we have 75 students in class which again divided into 4 batches for practicles that is 1 batch is of 18-19 students and lab doesn't have that number of working pc's.

Internships Opportunities :

local companies offer the intership and inplant training in college some of them have stipend which is around 8-10k and for others it's just inplant training so you havr to do it for free but it's worth cause you get real life knowlwdge of the industry.

Placement Experience :

Placements in the college are decent. from 7th semester students become eligible for the placements. big compaies like Tata technologies, Forvia hella, Cromptan, TCS, Siemens, L&T etc visits campus for recruitement every year. 40-60 students gets placed on-campus every year.

Fees and Financial Aid :

currently the total fees of the college is 80500 for open catagory including tution fees, development fees, laboratory fees, library fees, gymkhana fees etc and it increases by about 1-2k every year for the new batch for current batch it remains same. college supports all the government and private scholerships and college alumni club also have it's own scholership of 12000 per year which is provided to most needy students. and if you get hostel then it will be like living for free cause the 1 tear fee for hostel is 1700.

Campus Life :

Annual techfest WINGS is held in january of each year and participants from all over maharashtra are invited to join this fest. annual gathering held in february along with the sports week. Library is quite huge and has all types of books mainly educational and college also has e-library knimbus which has huge amount of books and journals available also college provides acces to IEEE for the students for free. college has several social and techinal clubs which are ruuning perfectly and making impact on our college

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel building is very old and not maintained well. rooms are provided with bed, light, fan and Ethernet conection. toilet and bathroom conditions are not good. Girls hostel have their inbuilt mess which is terrible as i have heard from my friends for boys you are free to choose your mess outside of campus. hostel is quite affordable like 1700 per year all the girls will get hostel despite of their marks and ranks but for boys you have to be in top 6 for getting hostel

Admission :

You have to clear MHT-CET which held my maharashtra board every year, the forms for the exams are available in february and the exam is held in april coucelling process will begin in may-june. Exam is easy as compares to the IIT-JEE but you to prepare as syllabus is from maharashtra state board and not cbse. This is government autonomous college the cutoff is decent like 94 percentile for open catagory.

Faculty :

Total number of students in departement is arount 300 including all four years and there are 7 permanent teachers. permanent faculty is quite experienced all of them have more than 15 years of experiance each in their respective fields but they can't teach any new subject out of their experty.. Faculty is rude but some of them are quite supportuve as well if we go to them with any query they will help you out with it if they think it's genuine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.
