Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is in line with the new education policy and the subjects taught are all relevant to the current market status. The subjects taught to us are related to course and the overall objectives of the programme. Mainly, there are two semesters in a year and are divided into internals and externals, internals are of 20 marks and external are of 60, depending on the subject, there are also projects and presentations along with the exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are a lot of internship opportunities provided by the placement cell of the college. I had applied for a few but I did not get a call back, maybe because I was just in the first year but all the intership opportunities provided were paid and the stipend used to be somewhere around 10000 per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

There are campus placements, good companies come for hiring from here. The packages are also good. I don't know the exact number of students who get placed but good companies hire from our college. As per the best of my knowledge, the college average placement were around 4-5 lacs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple, it is to paid on per annum basis. My course fee is 40000 rupees per annum. My course is of 3 years. So effectively I'll be paying around 120000 for the completion of the course. There is no scholarship or financial assistance provided by the college that I know of. As heard from the seniors the undergraduate placements are really good.

Campus Life

2.5

There are a lot of seminars, webinars and college fests going on throughout the year and also a lot of opportunities to participate in inter college fests. There are a lot clubs to upskill yourself to have leadership opportunities. We do have a sports day, and also there are lot of opportunities to participate in sports and represent the college.

Admission

The admission criteria was totally based on the marks scored in the 12th grade and there was no entrance to get in . The first list cutoff was very high, it was almost 100%. But it came down to 85% in the fourth list. Filling the form was very simple, disclosure of the list was also in a simple format. No need for improvement.

Faculty

4

The faculty comprises of professionals and qualified tutors having relevant corporate and teaching experience. The faculty to student ratio is not that great but no compulsory attendance makes it easier for the students attending the classes to interact with the teachers. The faculty is easily approachable and are always open to solving doubts and questions which makes it easier for the students to interact with them .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
