Likes

The staff was good. The teachers appointed helps students in their doubts.

Dislikes

The labs were not there. There was a shortage of infrastructure required.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was designed with the industry norms keeping in mind. The latest fields that are now growing in market were also added in the syllabus. But I think the management should improve in terms of infrastructure related to labs.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee was 40000 per semester. The fees is not hiked up generally. The examination fees was 2500 per semester. But the university do not provide a kind of facility in which student can deposit the fees in installments.

Campus Life :

There was an annual festival that happened in the university. An annual sports meet was also organised where any student can perform. Overall social aspects were good in the university. social groups were also active

Admission :

Eligibility for the course is bachelor's of technology. The university notified admissions to courses every year. Anyone can apply for it online.and after that a councelling is going to organise where the seats are awarded in order of merit

Faculty :

The teachers were appointed by government of Himachal Pradesh. They were required to qualify the tests for their jobs. The teachers were good in imparting the bookish knowledge but lacks the practical knowledge that is required in the market.

Life at Baddi University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is based on Continuous and Comprehensive evaluation. The faculty members are very helpful. In case of any difficulty, you can ask them any time. The HOD is PhD in Electrical engineering and has teaching experience of more than 10 years. The other teachers are also well-graduated and possess relevant experience. Each semester you have to give 2 mid-term exams and then a final exam. The level of Questions asked is easy if you have studied the concepts.

My experience of NIT HAMIRPUR.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for campus placement. PGCIL and L&T are the companies that came for the Electrical and Mechanical branches. Some oil companies also came with an average package of 10 LPA. More than 80% of students were placed. I was placed as an Assistant Professor and I want to continue my future in teaching.

IIT Mandi Campus life and admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good. The faculties are good and well qualified from the best colleges. The faculty and student ratio is satisfactory. In some of the subjects, we were having mid-semester examination end semester examinations but in some subjects, we were having only mid-semester and some kind of projects and class participation of students.

Entrance Preview:

GATE, AIR 812, NITH was one of the few colleges providing PG specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering course. The location and infrastructure of the college is just amazing.

Admission:

IITs release notifications for post-graduate programs in Engineering (M.Tech) through GATE examinations every year. The examination is held in the month of February. The forms could be obtained at nationalised banks and also at all the IITs. The GATE (Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering) is a national level examination for all Post-graduate courses in Engineering which are eligible for grants by AICTE.
