Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum in 1st year was very common with B.tech students but in 2nd year it was full of our core subjects of computational biology. I had subjects related to biology that needs to be practically carried out in labs or on computer so only it is named as computational biology - meaning, biology that is studied on computer. All subjects were amazing to be studied and I seriously enjoyed my entire course curriculum of 2 years.

Internships Opportunities :

Actually people who got through GATE exam were being offered internship over there. Rest who were through university paper were not offered internship. Hence no stipend. There were many companies which came to hire students but i was planning for PHD so didn't took any interview.

Placement Experience :

As I didn't took any interview so don't know about the packages but yes I know that there was 95-100% placement in my college. Many reputed companies came like- Google, Microsoft etc.

College Events :

If I talk about the college events then My college ranked no 1 for that. Every week there used to be a motivational fest for students to relax. Then Monthly there is something exceptional events being carried out like surprises and night-outs. Also there is annual fest in march in which celebrities used to come and entertain us. List is endless so lets wrap up this much here.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee-structure was very much feasible. 70K for 1 year only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There were scholarships programme but only for the GATE qualifies candidates. So I was not the part of it in any case. Hence don't know much about it.

Campus Life :

Actually campus life was truly amazing as there is nothing left which i can say didn't happened there. Every curricular activity was carried out there that to weekly. And lab sessions, sports, competitions all were held out in their own amazing manner. They used to be the best and students keenly participated to decrease their stage fear and become the star of JUIT .

Exam Structure :

Exam structure was nice. We used to have sessionals thrice and finals only. All marks were added and final average marks were calculated. Also the lab sessions were carried out which was the best part as we people used to have fun in it.

The curriculum was designed with the industry norms keeping in mind. The latest fields that are now growing in market were also added in the syllabus. But I think the management should improve in terms of infrastructure related to labs.

Life at Baddi University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is based on Continuous and Comprehensive evaluation. The faculty members are very helpful. In case of any difficulty, you can ask them any time. The HOD is PhD in Electrical engineering and has teaching experience of more than 10 years. The other teachers are also well-graduated and possess relevant experience. Each semester you have to give 2 mid-term exams and then a final exam. The level of Questions asked is easy if you have studied the concepts.

My experience of NIT HAMIRPUR.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for campus placement. PGCIL and L&T are the companies that came for the Electrical and Mechanical branches. Some oil companies also came with an average package of 10 LPA. More than 80% of students were placed. I was placed as an Assistant Professor and I want to continue my future in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good. The faculties are good and well qualified from the best colleges. The faculty and student ratio is satisfactory. In some of the subjects, we were having mid-semester examination end semester examinations but in some subjects, we were having only mid-semester and some kind of projects and class participation of students.

Entrance Preview:

GATE, AIR 812, NITH was one of the few colleges providing PG specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering course. The location and infrastructure of the college is just amazing.

Admission:

IITs release notifications for post-graduate programs in Engineering (M.Tech) through GATE examinations every year. The examination is held in the month of February. The forms could be obtained at nationalised banks and also at all the IITs. The GATE (Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering) is a national level examination for all Post-graduate courses in Engineering which are eligible for grants by AICTE.
