When there is an immediate strike of classes, day scholars are knowing it very late and this is been a main issue

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course provide us with good knowledge about what we should do while working in a office or company. It always provides us with more efficiency to lead and score perfectly for certain goals. Even though it is vast and tough it provide us with quite good opportunities

Class Size : 69Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A professional degree in GECT with the end of 4 years almost ?40000 course fee alongwith other expenses. There are many scholarships provided here like egrantz,safe, bpcl, and so on. Almost 5000 per semester will be provided in above scholarships

Campus Life :

The campus is almost covering an area of 75 acres approximately which include a main ground, basketball court and hockey ground. Good gym is available here along with table tennis practice. Many games like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball,athletics and so on are held here

Admission :

As i am being a first year mechanical student in GECT the cutoff here for mech is almost around 8k to 10k for general category in third allotment. Students who are looking for cse, ece, eee should have cutoff of around 1k to 6k.

Faculty :

Faculties are good and educated but they all have different methods of teaching. Some teachers teach us with high sincerity and some teachers guide us to the way of how to score good marks with good techniques. Overall everyone have their own ways of teaching

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.
