Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are in total 3 exams conducted before the end semester exams which are conducted by AKTU. The difficulty level is much more than that of the final exams. So, students are well prepared for the exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I don't have a lot of knowledge about the stipends provided but companies such as flipkart, capgemini are big recruiters. TCS and Infosys also hire a lot of interns. Ample opportunities are available for each student.

Placement Experience

4

The placement percentage is quite good. Every student is placed according to their abilities. The placement cell works hard to bring companies like flipkart, Capgemini and other big sharks. I would want to take up a good campus placement offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is a bit pricy I think. Total course charges are around 6-6.5 lakhs without including hostel charges. The boys hostel charges are 1.25 lakhs for a triple seater AC room. The students can apply for the UP government scholarship only if they've taken admission from counseling mode.

Campus Life

4

See, there's not much to experience as a first year student. Being in my semester two I've realized that first year in glb is all about attendance. They're really hard headed with their attendance policies. First year students aren't allowed to take part in any clubs or communities but the seniors are very helpful and let the students join the coding community GDSC of the college. All the college clubs are very helpful and are a different experience. Talking about infrastructure students are provided with three canteens with affordable food. A lunch area for hostelers. A dinning Hall. A shed area, basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, a big ground. A common room with TT and carrom, pool table is also available.

Admission

See, if you're sitting in the counseling in that case you should have a CRL of 1.2-1.3 lakhs for core CSE branch. If coming for direct admission, then if you've a board percentage of 95% above you may get the core CSE branch. Reservation is available only through counseling. No reservation is considered for direct admission process. The admission process is quite lethargic . They're understaffed and it causes a lot of chaos.

Faculty

5

Teachers are available and approachable all the time. They even respond texts on WhatsApp. All the faculty members do their best for the students and are very helpful not just for academics but for other problems as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). Few companies visit VBSPU for placements, and most are mass recruiters offering IT support and sales-related roles. Since placement opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of students secure on-campus jobs. Average Package: ~ 3-3.5 LPA Many students rely on off-campus placements through LinkedIn, referral hiring, or applying directly to companies. Many students prepare for government jobs like GATE, SSC, or banking exams. My plans after BTech Freelancing & personal projects to improve skills and build a strong portfolio.

The placement cell is not so active and here you will have to prepare for mostly the off campus placement for high paying packages otherwise the average package is 3LPA which may be not meet your expectations. The highest package from this college is off campus palcement. if you are a hardworker and have proper skills and knowledge you will deifnitely get placed . so my suggestion is that to also enjoy your college life but also be a hardworker and become a job creator.
