- The view and the weather is good here, didn't snow but for snow could go to shimla.
- The environment of the campus is good and friendly with the view and overall too.
- Teachers are good here, they are friendly and provide insights too about everything.
Dislikes
- The size is quite small for a university.
- No designated "campus". Campus is also not like the other universities with big gardens due to the mountains
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good, they provide 4year research degree, with dedicated one year to research part only, making us industry ready. The equipments and lab work was the reason i chose this University and was not disappointed. The curriculum offers comprehensive study of every aspect of our field. Also they offer us minor subjects to study our choice of interest's subject outside our field.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available here unfer different teachers and they provide too for outer world. They help us in getting internships or at least guide us to it. Internship is required here to maintain good cgpa. Thus companies too come for it.
Placement Experience
Placements are there, but in my field I don't expect myself to be settling as soon as I finish by bachelor's. They provide us with enough knowledge to get into some great master's degree. Thus it is better to study good and get admission in best colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is based on grading system by boards and we are given a certain amount of cgpa to be maintained yearly to continue our scholarship. Other scholarships are available too. The fees is neither too high nor too less.
Campus Life
Overall experience of the campus is fun, they provide us with enough stuff to wnjoy campus life. There are programs every week, something atleast. Thus you can enjoy the programs or chill in the campus with no worries
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is hostel right, we can't expect it to be 5-star, but comparing it to other hostels, it's quite goood here. Rooms are good, clean and comfortable to live in. Meals are 7/10, sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe sheet. Pg are also available but it's better to enjoy hostel life here.
Admission
It is easy process. You fill the form from their site. There is a scholarship/cum admission exam that is to be conducted before they finalise admission. Not difficult at all. It is quite simple to take admission.
Faculty
The faculty here is quite good to be honest. Every teacher here is friendly, provides a good environment to study and gain knowledge. The Student to faculty ratio is good. The teachers know the students and their interests too. Teacher's cabin is always open to students and tht are friend-like beings thus can call in the night too.
