Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is quite simple and easy anyone can score 9+ cgpa if he or she thoroughly read all the notes and practice preview year question. In silicon there is specially dedicated exam halls for exam to be conducted

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 172000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As discussed earlier internship we get after the completion of even semester we choose our favourite course accordingly we have to pay for that also we can get stipend if work is good and satisfactory also we can get PPO from there

Placement Experience :

Generally internship we get after the completion of even semester we can choose our favourite domain and pay accordingly after the completion of internship we had to make report of it also we get cashback for performing well in internship. Placement is over-all good in silicon

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus placement is quite good and promising one of my senior got 3300000per annum and he was from ECE branch our college average placement is 800000 per annum and company to student ratio is 7:1 silicon industry interface cell supports a lot for placement of students

Campus Life :

Although campus size is small but various clubs and chapters are active here they organise various events workshops and competition to take part and get awarded they teach appart from knowledge we get from course

Hostel Facilities :

Silicon provide separate residential facilities for boys and girls there is ac non AC rooms 3 beded 4 beded rooms rooms with attached bathroom... bathroom and floor are cleaned everyday...overall hostel experience is good

Hostel Fee : INR 98000 per year

Admission :

Silicon provide reservation for SC and st apart from that students of odisha having their parental income below 6 lakhs can avail tfw scheme where 50 percentage of fees is reduced for getting admission in silicon you need to appear jee mains and apply in ojee counselling

Faculty :

Faculties are well trained and they teach very nicely they clear all your doubts in class also if you want you can go into faculties chamber for doubts clearance also you can go in Saturday for doubt clearance

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
