Course Curriculum Overview :

Mentorship team of college help me to choose this course, verg good course, A lot of knowledge i get from it, teaching methods like ppts, experiments, practicals are excellent, 2 times university exams in year and 6 imes mid term exam

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies offering internships and jobs are different like Nescafe, Amul, Verka, UPL, Roots to fruits, they also provide jobs with good package Different agricultural and related companies provide internships

Placement Experience :

A no. Of companies visit at college for placements, 8th sem students are preffered for placement, i had visitee 2 companies, highest package is 500000 per annum and minimum 180000 per annum, i am doing job now

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is 80000 per year including all the charges Scholarships are available if you score good marks in 12th and after that in colleges For castes like Ews, sc, bc, different scholarship schemes are available

Campus Life :

All the northwest festivals like new year in January, VIBGYOR in feb, Holi In march, Diwali in october, Christmas in December are celebrater Different competitions like rangoli, dance, painting held in year Sports like cricket, football, different national level competition held

Hostel Facilities :

Ac rooms are provided, gym facility, leal qualitg is very good and hygienic, very hygiene hostel rooms 100000 per year hostel charges Registration for hostel held in admit centre at BFGI Locality if you looking for pg is Bathinda

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per year

Admission :

Couse eligibility- 12th with medical or non medical You can get application form from Baba farid college admission centre and submit fee too. At admission centre you get all the information. Otherwise you can visit at bfgi portal

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is 1:40 , faculty is very approachable. Best mentors and have very good knowledge, you can ask same question a number of times, they will help you Every time i need i can interact with teachers

Is LPU that Lovely?

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.

Good in campus environment

Remarks:

After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
