Course Curriculum Overview :

i would rate the course curriculum highly in terms of both relevence and comprehensiveness. the curriculum covers a wide range of foundational and advanced topics in electronics and communication engineering which is base for new era, ensuring that the students are provided with necessary knowledge and skills for industry. Additionally, the curriculum is regularly updated to keep pace with evolving technology, making it highly relevant to current industry needs.

Class Size : 116Course Fees : INR 52500 per year

Placement Experience :

Nit raipur has a strong trace record of placements, with reputable companies like TATA , Vdanta and many more, visiting the campus to recruit students each year. The placement cell works actively to facilitate oppurtunities for students, providing training, networking events, and career guidance to enhance employability. Many students secure high paying job offers through campus placements. From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. And many sit for 6th semester internship and secure their place at reputable companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure at NIT raipur is transparent, it is available on NIT Raipur website, for distinct family income amount changes. Additionally , the institute offers a range of scholarships and financial assistance programs to support students in need. These scholarships can be both government funded and privately sponsered, covering tution fees, hostel fees, laptop price and more. Moreover, NIT raipur provides oppurtunities for campus employement for Mtech student but for Btech it offers interships and research assistantship.

Campus Life :

My overall experience with campus life at NIT raipu has been enriching and fulfilling. The campus provides a vibrant social atmosphere, with various clubs and student organizations that serves to diverse interests, ranging from cultural to technical and everything in between. HIghlighting fests of our institute are SAMAR-sports fest, Avartan-tech fest, and many small social gatherings like Blood donation camp and many more. Getting involved in these clubs allowed me to develop leadership skills, and explore my passions outside the academics. Moreover, the campus infrastucture is well maintained and equipped with modern facilities, including specific laboratories, libraries, sport complex, food stations, garden friends adda and recreational areas. These amenties enhance the overall student experience.

Hostel Facilities :

I have experienced only hostel facility provided by the institute and that's comfortable and convenient with well furnished rooms, wifi connectivity and mess services. But there is an issue that hostel is not alloted to everyone, there is shortage of hostel building and so we need to score good to get into college hostel. However other factors are good and fees for hostel is affordable, its about fifty thousand per year.

Hostel Fee : INR 56000 per year

Admission :

NIT raipur is renowned nationally for engineering. Admission to this prestigious institute begins with JEE Mains entrance exam, application forms are accessible on NTA website, students can visit there and fill the form thoroughly, better you visit the website frequently to get updates about the recent information . Following the exam distinct cut-off are established for various, ensuring equitable oppurtunities e.g., for ST and SC 60-65 ,for OBC it around 80 and for Gen it ranges from 83-85 percentile. After the result declared we move to choice filling stage, this allows candidates to select their prefered courses, with allocation based on factors such as rank and categories. Than comes the college admission process entails document verification and fee submission. Those eligible for reservation can claim free reduction. Additionally explore for many scholorships (government and non government).

Placement Experience:

• Students get eligible placements from their fifth semester i.e their 3rd-year middle. • Many famous companies like Wipro Amazon Google cloud etc come to offer placements. • Over 80 companies come to offer employment for nearly 800 students in a year. The same situation can be seen electrical department. • The highest average package announced as per the company is above 10 lacs per annum and the profiles offered are to the talented bright students. • Nearly 65 % of the students are placed every year. • I would like to appear for Gate and go for a public sector job in my core subject i.e the Electricity department.

You will never get the full details and correct stats from any college about their campus placement. All you will know is from your seniors. And what I heard is that from now on good campus placement have started. Still, not more than 10% can get satisfied campus placements. But not to worry because nowadays we have opportunities to get placements.
