Course Curriculum Overview

2

Study material, duration of course and fees is decent. If you start studying from day 1 after admission with any source and complete assignment on time, with proper explanation of process of submissions and practical classes so you can get experience. They should start classes minimum after 1month of admission so they can atleast give summary of every chapter and subject well even if its a open university so it wont get crowded with students doubts where you've only minimum days of classes as of now. And proper group of peopel who have information allal about the course not to tell us go to regional centre or study centre or website, one sourse where we can get the information properly on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

All fee should be added in admission process also for examination fee so, dont have to pay again again for every other thing. IGNOU's tuition fee structure can vary based on the program and courses you are enrolled in. The complete cost of education at IGNOU includes tuition fees, examination fees, registration fees, and other compulsory charges. The total cost can depend on the program, number of courses taken, and any additional fees applicable. Some of the scholarships available at IGNOU may include merit-based scholarships, need-based scholarships, and scholarships for specific categories of students. The amounts and eligibility criteria for these scholarships can vary, so it's advisable to check with the university for latest info. Campus jobs can vary from administrative positions to research assistants or teaching assistants. The stipends for campus employment roles at IGNOU may also vary based on the nature of the job, responsibilities, and duration of employment.

Campus Life

2.5

Haven't experienced any technical festivals or any from IGNOU yet or related to my course. I haven't accessed library of ignou or study centre yet, can we use it i dont know about this properly. No facilities been used yet. Not informed about the sports activities offered by IGNOU. Yeah there are 1-2 but , sometimes it filled with doubts/confusion messages or peopel having a conversation, these groups are useful but aren't fully helpful for all information you want.

Admission

Admission process was online and went through well. I took cuet for psychology hons for bachelor and the process is 2-3 month long and many steps to follow. Cut-off seemed to be fine but you've to study hard as people say to study for "BOARDS" then you can get a decent college. The normalisation is the aspect i didn't like my total was around 630 but because of normalisation it decreased to 480 and wasn't able to get any college. Eligibility for B.A. (hons) Psychology is minimum 55% in 10+12 pass board examination in any stream. Application form andnother details can be find on official websites of the entrance or university site or on YouTube. Timing of exam are maximum 3 hours and travelling is minimum 4 hours, difficulty is medium.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
