Course Curriculum Overview :

Cusat has an up-to-date curriculum which adds and removes portions to keep your syllabus relevent .Soe has a brand new curriculam since 2023.Its new curriculam has removed basic mechanics,civil,such subject from cs\ec\it\ee first year syllabus.This stops you from changing branch after first year.

Class Size : 66Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience :

As far as I know, the placements are great. There is 25 lakh per annum as the highest offer and an average of 6 lakh as average in my branch. almost all of the students get placements apart from those who got supply exams.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Scholarships are available for those who are willing to dive deep and search for it. yes, no one is gonna inform you anything. there is a sem fee and exam fee, then a program expense split from students and Kochi is expensive to live in.

Campus Life :

Soe was famous for its festivals. However, due to some circumstances, our first year was not that active. It may change from next year onward. There are a lot of study-related clubs that are really active. sports club and sports fest was not that great

Admission :

There were multiple levels of admission processes. From three allotments to offline and online spot allotments. The admission was purely based on the Cusat Cat exam rank. The exam has its unique pattern but it follows the syllabus of all other entrance exams. You can learn more about the branch-wise cutoff for each category on the cusat.ac.admission website the application forms and such are available there.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
