Remarks :

I gave JEE Mains Entrance Exam.The Exam was of mediocre difficulty.It had Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects and the eligibility criteria of the course is 75% in Boards Exam.The Entrance Exam is conducted twice in a year and the best out of the two is chosen as the final result of the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is of mediocre difficulty and the comprehensiveness of the course is good.The teachers are very well eperienced and very well qualified. The teaching methods are normal but they try to give attention to all the students

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Some Internship opportunities are available but most of the students do not rely on the college but themselves find better internship opportunities and internships are very important for the placement oppotunities.

Placement Experience :

The On-Campus placements are offered and 1200000 per annum is the average placement of our college and many companies have visited the college but most of the students prefer to go off-campus for placement opportunities or pursue higher education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The academic fees is 90000 per semester and if you avail hostel facility then the hostel fees is approximately 58000 per semester and the hostel fees includes transport fees also. Campus Placements happen but students prefer to go off campus

Campus Life :

The Permanent Campus is still under development and will take some time to complete but apart from that other facilities are provided.Club involvement is decent and the coding culture is pretty awesome.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Facility is mediocre and the mess is also decent and Wi-Fi facility is provided inside the hostel. 1 bed,chair and table and 1 cupboard is provided in the room per person.Electronic Apppliances such as a kettle or heater are not allowed.

Hostel Fee : INR 58000 per year

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.

After 6 semester you will be eligible for on campus placement. But you can get internship offers earlier. The companies visited last year are Deltax, TCS research, zscalar, yellow class. Total 51 oncampus companies came last year. Highest package- 32lpa Avg package- 11.47lpa Last year placement percentage was 88.9% My plans after the degree are higher studies and masters.

The placement data of this college can be found on its site and if you work hard from your side the college will definitely bring in the companies and you will be placed depending on your skills.
