Student's Review On Indian Institute Of Information Technology - [IIITK], Kalyani

Remarks :

CSE is my favourite subject and JEE Rank is low about 50000 and this is the only college where CSE offered to me that's why I choose this college. This college is mentored by IIT Kharagpur ( by name only no interaction)

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIT Kharagpur is the mentor of our college and so our college follow theirCourse Curriculums. No industry exposure Faculties are good but not best.30% faculty are good.No academic infrastructure No campus (work on the way may be completed after 2022)

Internships Opportunities :

Cppsecrets.com Stipend-1000 per monthIts a two month intership apply through Internshala.

Placement Experience :

I dont know more about that but there are few companies that visit our campus like Jio, And some other, placement scenario of our college is increasing per year last year highest packis 17 LPA and average package is 6LPA. Connection with Alumni is also good. Last year placement ratio is 70

College Events :

Culture event holds once in a year.Technical events like Hacktober fest etc talk hosted time to time.Cultural event like Sarswati puja diwali were celebrated by student of their own cost.We have no campus and thats why the Kalyani city is just like our campus

Campus Life :

Their is only one building on rent were our classes and offices running.we have no campus til writing this. After a strike by the students in 2019, campus infrastructure work is on the way but too slow may be completed after 2023 (no guarantee). No playground, playground is also on rent.Hostels are also on rent and thats why we have to pay high amount for fees.Tuition fees is 97000 per semester.

Hostel Facilities :

Minimum 4 student per room but rooms are big enough for 4 student. Final year student get single room. Good facilities for hostels. You have to pay electricity bill.Mess food is not good for health.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of accounts this course is best but only doing general courses are not good idea you should go for any other skills so it will help you for high paying jobs. In this college they also provide internship so the students gets experience and get knowledge about their studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

Frankly speaking when I was 17 I did my H.S. After the examination I decide to do bcom for mathematics and for financial condition of my family. That's the truth for taking bcom as a couce and I love math that's the second reason.

Remarks:

I heard about this college have some very good course. Academic majors are available.Affordable cost for taking admission. It is near from my hometown. Average classroom infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi facility available. The food of the canteen is also good. And it has a big ground where you can play outdoor games. In this college there is good infrastructure, good faculty member, good non teaching stuff also. This college give the perfect knowledge of the real world.

Placement Experience:

Around 60% of the students get internship from the college. The highest lowest average stipend offered during internships for every student was depending on their family background. The college has a good placement cell.
