Course Curriculum Overview :

I personally loved ece department since when i decided to choose engineering as it includes both software and hardware subjects. So even when the curriculum is difficult the ways i look to solve certain issues could be influenced from these subjects and the faculty's advices . There are practical examples and applications discussed of what we are studying. The teaching wud be better if they concentrated more on the way students could capture rather than completing syllabus

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees that are told to u at the beginning of the course stay the same until u pass out. There are no such hikes. At the time of admission u have to pay around 2k as one time fees. But that doesn't contribute to the tution fees. The events and record books are compulsory charges. Record books along with 6 assignment notes are 800rs. And the event cost varies. I am still in 2nd yr so dont know about the stopends and campus employment

Campus Life :

Techfests namely pravega was conducted on april 5 6 this year. We cant confirm the dates for all the yrs. We have a vast expanded library with all the books for all the branches and also fictional section. The labs are in excellent condition and technologically well developed. Students take care of the magazine and literature dept namely thoolika. There are also usic clubs and dance clubs also various sport clubs

Admission :

To be eligible for the course we have to have passed 12th grade with above 65% marks and it would be better if u have qualified the KEAM exam. The application form , fees and other details will be provided when u visit the college. The dates will be after keam result is published.The couse fees will be particularly based on ur marks in keam and 12th grade. Reservation benefits are also available and special scholarship schemes are also there. The admission process is real quick and not at all tiring. The admission to branches is based on 1st come 1st get policy. The earliest u go the desired option u get.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
